Genesis Tree Service

We hired them to remove a large dead oak tree hanging over our house. They removed the tree one piece at a time and lowered it to the ground, never touched the house. When they were finished they cleaned up every single stick, raked the areas they worked in and even blew the sawdust off of the roof.
We are having him back next year for additional work as are the neighbors.
His price was very good and the lowest estimate we received. I would give him a five star rating.

If I could leave a no star review I would do so. Contacted Hector Chilel, owner of Genesis Tree Service of Johnson Creek, WI. Made an appointment for an estimate on tree removal. He made appointment for 3 PM Friday. He did not show and did not call. 5:15 PM he called about coming at 6 PM in the evening for the estimate. I asked why no call and no show. He stated "my guys were busy in Oconomowoc". I said "see you at 6". No show at 6 PM. 6:30 Pm I text him and ask where he is. He texts "I'm busy. Call someone else". BBB shows 3 complaints for similar behavior and he is not accredited by BBB. I would suggest not doing business with this inconsiderate jerk.

I've read reviews (bbb, yelp, etc) there were mixed results. When they do the work, people are satisfied. Where they get poor reviews it is always when they are late to appointments or just don't show up. I decided to give them a chance figuring if we got past the quote appointment, I'd be fine. Well, the appointment came and went without so much as a call. Thus a single for having to rearrange my schedule to be home for them and wait.....and wait......and wait. I could have had somebody else here already which is what I am now doing.
