I am an extremely happy female client of Gerow Hair Ink. For many years I wore a hairpiece every day to cover my thinning crown hair due to my hereditary female pattern baldness.
I recently completed 3 smp sessions with Jonathan Gerow and am thrilled with my results! Jonathan is masterful in his use of the smp technique. He created density in my hair that looks so natural I now feel confident going running and other places in public without covering my hair. My thin hair no longer is the issue it used to be for me.

Diffuse thinner here who had been dealing with MPB and telogen effluvium after a severe illness. I did a ton of research on SMP and it was an absolute no brainer that Gerow is the top place to go. They were actually recommended by a top plastic surgeon in nyc who wasn't able to do a transplant because of lack of good donor hair.

Anyways, as someone who's in their early 30s, I didn't want to be balding so I got on minoxidil, fin, and also decided that SMP would be a good route for immediate density so I can barely see my scalp .

Jonathan and his team were absolutely incredible to work with. He answers all of the questions you ask thoroughly and is extremely patient. Great attention to detail.

I did ink on my beard as I was having some bald patchy spots. I have to say, hands down amazing work. First- with regards to safety: I felt completely save with all the precautions they are taking. Everyone with gloves and masks, temperature check upon entrance and sanitizers available. Next- customer service- excellent, greeted by the reception was professional. Juan was the person who did my ink, he was amazing. Friendly and professional, made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable. Finally the work- amazing results. Couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a place to do SMP, don't go elsewhere. You will not be disappointed.

Erick and Jonathan were great during my procedure. Even honored their warranty to get a few spots touched up. Super professional and very nice, clean facilities. This is the best of the best in terms of work and quality. Get it done!

Jonathan did a good job in the first 2 sessions on my SMP. He doesn't do the 3rd session however, and he had someone who was obviously much less skilled finish the job. It came out horrible. It's way too dark and way too dense and it doesn't blend at all into my hair. I had Jonathan touch it up - which he said looked good - but it totally sucks tbh. I hate looking in the mirror now. It was very expensive and the end result was a very poor job. Now I'm spending more money to get it lightened and removed. I hope others can benefit from my horrible experience. I'd look elsewhere if I were you. Try finding a phone number to even call the studio directly... Good luck
