Get It Inn Island Cuisine II

I was excited to try this establishment as I heard they had an amazing stew snapper. That excitement never happened

When we arrived, they had no snapper and no roti. The food itself was not good.

The food tasted old and reheated. The goat was tuff and came out with chunks of ice piece in it. We had to send it back to get it hot. The oxtails were also tough and wouldn't come off the bone. The seafood fried rice had good flavor but had imitation crab and lobster meat and five small shrimp. For 24 dollars it is not worth it at all. The festival was burnt. The cabbage was amazing and the reason why this place gets one start. If I had a plate of just cabbage I would have been happy. I left the enter plate of oxtails, and goat on the table because It was that bad. 72+ dollars down the drain.

Catfish & Karaoke!

Came on a Thursday.
Had a good meal and a good time.
Sang, laughed and got tipsy.
My catfish entree and 2 rum punches was 16 bucks.
The catfish was fried and seasoned to perfection.
The cabbage was good and rice was ok.
But with that oxtail sauce, it was a winner.
The Karaoke hostess was entertaining and hilarious.
I'll definitely be back for a low key good time on a school night!

Consistency is the key. See my previous review. Today i ordered the Escovitch red snapper. It was delicious. Fresh and full of delicious flavours.
James, the owner has great plans for his business. Customer service is at the top of his list.
Stop by for lunch or dinner. James mentioned that is gets quite lively at night, especially when they have karaoke.

Always a great spot to visit for me when I'm down in the area. Give them a visit. Say hi to James!

My husband and I stopped by for a lunch date. We immediately felt welcomed as the staff was very attentive and friendly! Clean establishment with tvs through out.

Great drink and food menu. I really wanted to check out the jerk pork because there are not many Jamaican restaurants in the City that have Jerk Pork on the menu. This location did not disappoint!!!

I got jerk pork and my husband had jerk ribs. Everything was well seasoned and fall off the bone delicious.

I grabbed curry chicken to-go for a friend. She loves it!!

Great lunch specials. Would love to return!! Really appreciate how kind/chill the staff were.

What's going on good people! I had to hit the food the streets of Baltimore to check out the food scene here, now I went on a a Sunday so many places were closed. I review Service, ambiance and of course FOOD!!

Ambiance (5 stars) it was nice and clean here, we actually were the only ones at first and others walked in later but it was overall clean and smelled fresh.

Service (5 Stars) we don't have to wait long and our drinks were always full. Granted we had nothing but water but they made sure our cups were full. The waitress was helpful.

Food (4 Stars) I order the Oxtails, peas and rice with cabbage and plantains with a side of mac and cheese with a Jamaican beef patty. Now the food was flavorful the thing that upset me the most was my beef patty was microwaved and the carrot cake was microwaved so much it literally was destroyed that I couldn't eat it (I got it to go and didn't discover it until I got in the car and my wife was wondering why the container was so hot) we looked and I was saddened because they were doing so good with dinner. If I go again I will let them know to please don't microwave my food, it takes away from the creditability of an establishment. I would go back for the main dishes.

This place is truly hit or miss and I hate that for them. I spent 44.00 for 2 orders of oxtails and in one box I literally received 2 oxtails. Make it make sense‍ I only tried this place again because I've had some good experiences prior. During a previous visit there was 80% bones and a few small oxtails. Then they have the audacity to ask you to pay over the phone. Please check you carry out order before you get to your destination. Do Better!!!

My boyfriend and I visited Get It Inn on a Friday night. The food took a little while to come out (we waited about 20 or so minutes) but that was because we were told the salmon was made the order.
The food was well worth the wait!! The seasoning was so yummy and I loved the cabbage the best!
If I had to say the only con were the drinks, they were very strong and didn't taste the best.
If you are looking for authentic Caribbean food, look no further!

So this was a pleasant surprise. Great food, great prices. So silly me thought there was a ravens game today at 1pm. Jokes on me it's tomorrow 11/1. So I figured I Might as well get some food. There were so many good things on the menu.

Food:

appetizer: chicken patty- soft crust decent amount of meat inside.

oxtails rice , pea, cabbage so I have been to about 5 Jamaican restaurants on the metropolitan area. And this was a surprise to me of the better spots. At 18$ the oxtail were very meaty and extremely tender. I was not starving but I could not stop eating the food. Interestingly enough the oxtails has carrots and potatoes which were good but a first for me. This was pair with rice and peas. And also cabbage. Both were very tasty.

Drinks: rumpunch what can I say it was strong, it was good. And you will get a nice buzz.

Space: This spot is very spacious. Compared to spots I have been to. Plenty of extra seating in the back as well. Bartender was very nice and accommodating.

All in all I spent 35$ with tip. I was very pleased with this place and I am coming back for the red snapper and the seafood fried rice. Till next time folks.

Food was amazingly fresh and hot at 9p! I will definitely be a return customer! I had the catfish and fries!

I have to try this restaurant another shot. The food was decent but my daughter was disappointed in the oxtails. I'm still open to suggestions for Caribbean cuisine. The rum punch was very good. The seafood rice I enjoyed. The chicken platter was ok. I will be back to try some other food menu items. Customer service was good as well.
