Gibney's Pub

This place has never disappointed when in Atlanta. This burger is outstanding!! The FF have even been improved. Service remains fast. The place plays great music and there are plenty of TVs.

This is a MUST GO IN ATLANTA! Burger was so good, I didn't even add Heinz ketchup!

I wanted to get a nice beer at lunch and what beer place than Gibney's pub. A short walk from most hotels downtown on the first floor of the Peachtree center. It is a nice pub vibe and decorated with tons if signs and a nice bar to sit at. There is a newer golden tee golf here and billiards as well. Not busy during my visit. They had many types of beer on tap but I wanted a black and tan and it was very smooth. Really enjoyed it. I decided on a very un pub like BBQ sandwich. It was actually quite tasty and was a very good quality pulled pork and a not too sweet nor spicy BBQ sauce. The fries were excellent crisp and tasty as well. It also comes with a small portion of Cole slaw as well. The service was friendly and quick and I really enjoyed my lunch here.

Nice little olace near the hotel I am staying in. Food was good and it has the small pub vibe. Service was a little slow but the server was working hard. The food took some time to come out. Overall a goid experience.

This place looks like an Irish pub, but it's not. Walking inside, the decor didn't not look like an Irish pub and they were playing Usher. We tried to order an Irish coffee but they said they didn't have it nor could they make it. We bought a variety of different stuff - fried cheese curds, fried pickles, spinach dip, nachos, chicken wings. The food was decent, the prices were decent too.

Our group of 12 decided to try Gibney's Pub because we just arrived into town and we were starving. The "pub" portion of the name was swayed us to go to Gibney's Pub.

The menu had typical bar food with the addition of fish and chips. We were told that there was a happy hour pricing on the pizzas. Our group ordered 5 pizzas total and it was more than enough. We failed to communicate to share pizzas, but we liked them. The other food items were not so great. The chicken sandwich was dry, the hamburger was missing the cheese and had horrible flavor. The chicken wings were just right.

The service was okay. It was nothing to brag about. The restaurant was pretty empty and we had to ask for refills all the time on our drinks. The waitress seemed bothered when we were asking for things.

If you have a group of 6 or more, they will not split your bill. You also should not pay with part cash and part card. They automatically add the gratuity (which we didn't mind) on the bill so splitting the payment was a disaster. The waitress took the card and cash. She was gone for quite some time and then asked me to come with her to the computer. So I went and she told me that they were going to charge my card more than it should be because it was still adding on the automatic gratuity. I had to tell her to give me part of the cash back so it all evened out.

I was excited to try some of the things I saw on Yelp. I guess the menu had changed. Lol. When you are hungry everything looks good. I could not decide. My friend had a burger that looked really good. I had Frito Pie. Everything was good and staff was nice. I want to go back and try the Fish and chips.

They do not provide tangible menus so make sure your phone is charged. . .

If you'd like warm Pacifico beer, a Golden Tee golf machine that doesn't take paper money or credit card, and staff that you have to wave down after five minutes of standing at the bar because they're too busy talking and texting that this is the bar for you.

Great staff great food. They told me this was a cottage pie not a Shepards pie and the chef told me to wait till after noon to order so I had some cheese curds and wings while I waited. Everything was solid

A nice pub. Friendly staff, good drinks, good food, comfortable, like a good pub should be.

Eric our bartender was awesome! We had the patty melt and smoked teriyaki wings. Both were very good. Prices were reasonable for downtown, and the drinks were on point too. Great little downtown getaway.
