Global Syn-Turf

I am extremely disappointed with my Global Syn Turf. I am a contractor, and had installed their Monterray Rivierra #80 product. Once installed
we notice a flaw within the grass. Global syn turf was quick to offer replacement grass, but did not compensate for our labor to take out
defective grass, and re install the new grass. We had only asked for the
cost of the labor to provide this, and they refused. It really was no skin off
their back to give us additional product, but it cost my company to fix
what was originally their problem. I would love a phone call for someone
to discuss. My supplier has trued their best to get me a cost discount
for the syn grass, but to no avail, we were not compensated for our
labor to fix their mistake. Greatly disappointed!

I wish I had read these reviews earlier and done more research on Global Syn-Turf. We had a similar experience to the other reviewers. Installed the product in our backyard. Even with very light traffic, within 6 months the turf started laying down and did not stand up. We tried brooming, raking and even a power broom but it didn't help. This area has zero traffic. After repeated calls, the sales rep from the 'claims' dept came out to inspect and take photos. There was no response for several weeks. Again after repeated calls to check on status the 'claims' department finally got back to say that this is normal and not covered by warranty. It's a crap product! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company!!!

If I could score ZERO, this would be it. After doing some research and calling the Regional VP in 2018. We decided to have the S-90 (top of the line product) installed in our 20x15 small area. The initial appearance was good, with some small "quarter-size" void areas. The factory tech came out within a week in Aug'18 to inspect and fixed the voids as they were "stitched -over" in manufacturing and he "un-did" the tangle to look natural.
After one year, we noticed that the turf was laying down and wouldn't stand up consistently over the area in spite of racking and brooming regularly. After repeated calls to the office and "claims" department over 3 months, the sales rep came out to take pics and write a report. Within a few days, the "claims dept" emailed and said the descriptions given were from abusive wear of the turf. THIS IS CRAP!. This is a small 15x20 decorative area that has ZERO traffic. We then called in a couple other companies to examine and they both said this was a "defective" product and only could be rectified by replacement. A cost of $3000. If fact, unsolicited, they both said that Global Syn Turf product is rated near the BOTTOM of the quality scale of all artificial turfs. Repeated calls and communication for Global Syn Turf to replace, in-kind, our turf have gone unanswered. The only recourse is small claims court. What a shame that companies will NOT stand behind their product. I am also interviewing Brickyard supply to consider using a different artificial turf supplier as they are a better company than to represent a crap company like Global Syn-Turf.

My husband is a lawn maintenance contractor, and started getting a lot of requests to install artificial grass in the last year. Global Syn-Turf was really helpful and friendly.

I called for information on their products and one of their reps gave us step by step instructions on how to install the grass. Not only that, the rep actually came out to the site of his first install and consulted his whole team. Unbelievable!

He plans on using their products for all of his future installs. Thanks guys!

We had Global Syn Turf installed about 5 weeks ago. We were told it was manufactured in California, Georgia, and Florida. In fact, it is made in China.
The problem we have is multicolored striping. We followed the procedure that was spelled out in the written warranty and encountered extremely rude responses
from everyone we spoke to. They hung up on us and even told us they wouldn't do business with us. Zero customer service after the sale. We just want what we paid for and nothing more. How in the hell do they stay in business?

Global Syn Turf, thru two dealers, suppled the two rolls of product labeled the same but was from different manufacturers and was different in color and composition. Eventually, they supplied replacement material for about 60% of the lawn but we were still out the reinstallation costs, and were put 3 months behind in completing our landscape project.

We are happy with the new reinstalled lawn - so just be careful to get a single roll for your project

We are a well established landscape construction company and had previously installed their product on a backyard project and 6 months later were hired to install the front. We ordered the same product but what we received was clearly inferior, color was off and the weight and fiber size was not the same. They sent out a rep and two days later sent us an e mail that the product was the exactly the same and that was it. They have clearly switched from the American made stuff to some overseas cheaper product and it shows and they are not willing to back what they sell. Now we are stuck with having to replace it - our customer is not at all a
satisfied and we agree. Find another product line - there are many out there.
