I had the best experience at Glow Aesthetic Medicine!!! I went in for a miraDry treatment, and I could not be more pleased with the staff and my results. They were very knowledgeable and attentive, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the treatment. I will definitely be back again!

I am extremely disappointed. I had liposuction around 8 months ago. I was left with a hand size "loaf" looking bump around and below my belly button. My hips look square. I was told my body would look better after a few months. It looks worse. I regret ever getting this procedure done. I have spent thousands of dollars @ Glow Aesthetic Medicine over the years and thought I would be treated better by Dr Carter.

Dear Joanne,
I wanted to express my gratitude for entrusting me with such a delicate and personal procedure. Liposuction is truly an art of medicine and something that I am deeply passionate about.
I recall seeing you once after the procedure for a follow-up when swelling was still normal. It concerns me greatly to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the results. My team and I have made numerous attempts to reach out to you to schedule another appointment for further evaluation. As discussed, I typically conduct a few follow-ups, including one three months after the procedure, as that is when all swelling tends to fully subside.
I urge you to contact our office so that we can address the areas of concern and explore possible options to meet your expectations. Your loyalty and longstanding relationship as a patient mean a great deal to me, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make things right.
Thank you once again for your trust and support.
Sincerely,
Dr. Patrick Carter - Carolyn K.CO, CO01Nov 28, 2023

We moved here from California, so I decided to try Glow. At first appointment, Katrina seemed to be nice and knowledgeable, however, after just a small sampling of CO2 laser, I was shocked to see she had absolutely no follow up! I have never been to a med spa or any type of medical office that does not check on their patients at least within 2 days to see how they are doing. Completely unprofessional!
On top of that I purchased some of their makeup for "after procedure" purposes and when I arrived home a day or so later, found no makeup in the bottle! Really...you send someone home after a separate trip to the spa with no makeup in the bottle? Then, they wanted me to return for a second trip after they supposedly "goofed around" with it. Why would I purchase a beauty product after you most likely put your hands in it (especially during COVID). A brand new bottle should have been a no brainer to offer to your client.
Finally, I also agree with the bottom review...During COVID, why would you only wear a face shield? Really? Not comforting at all about following COVID protocal!
Will never go back! Super unprofessional spa!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kristie R.Northeast Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs, CO1182Apr 29, 2020

Went in for Botox just before the Holidays--called for a touch up and appointment on 3 Jan and was denied since it had been over 2 weeks--not specified in instructions and office closed during assessment period for the holidays anyway.
Been going here for a long time but ***BEWARE***..policy does not align with common sense when it's to their advantage. If anyone has suggestions of alternative Botox clinics please respond.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Heather P.Woodbridge, VA05Nov 13, 2020
I am new to Colorado Springs (Thanks to the Army for moving my family here in the middle of a pandemic! Yay!) and made my appointment at Glow on the overwhelmingly positive recommendation of my neighbor. So, here's how my appointment plays out. I go in and the receptionist is in the back office that's connected to the reception area without his mask on, to his credit he did quickly don it when he saw me, but the damage is done. Any COVID virus he might be carrying is already out floating in the office air and continuously being recirculated by whatever heating/cooling system they have. Next, I question when the last time someone was without a face mask in the room I'm going to be in for my facial. His answer was satisfactory so I proceeded to fill out the necessary paperwork. They did have clean and dirty pen bins that are completely ineffectual especially if the staff aren't wearing masks and the office is not properly ventilated, but I digress. Next, the aesthetician comes out to collect me for my facial. I immediately register that she is only wearing a plastic face shield. Those of you who are taking this worldwide pandemic seriously will already be thinking, "Aw hell no!" because you've done your due diligence and learned how to keep yourselves and others safe. Those of you who wear only wear bandanas, plastic face shields, and plastic masks yourselves, please Google why that's an issue for the rest of us who don't want to get COVID. I'm not here to teach grown adults the basic science of the spread of respiratory diseases. So, due to the plastic shield, I tell the aesthetician that I cannot go through with the facial because I would have to take my mask off which would leave me vulnerable to any virus she could be shedding. I also told her the shield is only somewhat protecting her. She explained that she had a procedure done on her chin and she couldn't wear a face mask because it hurt. I could clearly see that her chin was raw and sore looking and told her I understood why she wouldn't want to wear a mask, but I couldn't take a chance. It would be reckless of me to take my mask off while she hovered over me performing my facial with just a face shield on. Finally, I way too graciously offered to purchase a product to compensate her for the lost appointment. She said she understood and I purchased my product and left.
So here's, the thing. If you cannot wear a mask and you are hovering over people's faces who have to have their masks off in order for you to perform a particular procedure, then you need to stay home until you CAN wear a mask. This is the third business here in Colorado Springs that I've had to either call out for their reckless disregard of city mask ordinances or just had to flat out report to the health department. I'm so over this place. Y'all are taking this Wild West individuality bs way too far. I was able to have Botox and fillers back in Rockville, MD during the pandemic without any issues because the business happily followed all of the protocols they needed to in order to keep themselves and their clients safe. If this is how Coloradans are going to conduct themselves and it seems it is, then a lot of people are needlessly going to get sick and die this winter. BTW, those who get COVID don't always recover quickly. Some are left with what could be a lifetime of other issues, Parkinson's, heart problems, cognitive impairment, etc.. It's not just the flu.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Claire A.Colorado Springs, CO08Dec 18, 2019
