Gong Cha Arundel Mills

I recently visited Goncha at Arundel Mills, and I must say, the experience was delightful! Nestled conveniently in the bustling shopping complex, Goncha offers a serene escape where one can enjoy a variety of tea-based beverages. The location is ideal for a refreshing break after a day of shopping or simply for a casual meet-up with friends.

Upon entering Goncha, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff. The service was prompt and attentive, with the team ready to recommend their specialties or help with the menu. Their friendly demeanor added a personal touch to the visit, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The highlight of my visit was trying their Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea. This beverage was a perfect blend of rich, caramel-like brown sugar and fresh, creamy milk, topped with their signature boba. The boba pearls were the right texture - chewy and springy, each one a delightful burst of sweetness that complemented the milk tea wonderfully.

The ambience of Goncha is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating that encourages you to linger over your drink. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and it's evident that they take great care in maintaining a neat and tidy environment for their customers.

Goncha at Arundel Mills is a must-visit spot for tea lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a well-crafted beverage in a friendly and inviting setting. I returned today for the first time since they opened. The service was great. They have ordering stations now, which I am not sure were present during my initial visit. The staff person was very helpful with this order, as I was looking for a beverage with no added sugar. He provided a good amount of information about their beverages and suggested a good option for me. Based on his recommendation, I ordered the Purple Sweet Potato drink.

The drink had a pretty color, but little to no flavor. I think the milk was the most prominent flavor in this one. I am pretty sure that added sugar would have made a big difference. The staff member had already informed me that it wouldn't be a richly flavored drink and he even offered to make something different if I did not like it. The drink was what I requested, which was unsweetened, so I drank. I really thought his customer service delivery was really good. We drank our beverages at the window bar. The location is cute.

Again, I just downed my entire drink without taking a pic. I will work on that since this place and the drinks are stunning. The drinks are a little bit addicting and at $6-$7 each, I need to slow down. But I can't! What's in them? I prefer all the fruit teas, but the milk teas are also amazing. I did not care for the milk foam since it tasted like cheese. I think it's supposed to taste like that so I pass. Cannot wait for it to get warmer again so I can work through some of the smoothies. My all time fave is the Little Star peach green tea and the peach oolong. See a pattern there. The caramel milk tea is also delicious. Basically, it's hard to go wrong here. They have a flavor combo for everyone, but if you don't get mango popping boba at least once, you are just wrong.

What really puts this Gong Cha over the top is the staff. They are just the nicest and most polite. They show great patience in helping you pick a drink as well.

The space is pretty and very comfortable. It can get crowded on weekend nights but the staff is very efficient and the waits are short. They have a great app to order ahead if you know what you want and they also have order boards in the front which I haven't tried yet.

Gong Cha has a nice comfortable atmosphere and a wide variety of boba options. The service is relatively fast. Some bubble tea shops can be slow, but this location runs efficiently. There are even 2 self-service computers so there is basically no wait. The teas and smoothies are always delicious!

I popped in here between hitting Dollar Tree and Michael's. This bubble tea place is adorable and the staff behind the counter were helpful and sweet too. I got the hot lychee green tea with white boba, drank it too quickly to take a pic. It was delicious and not overly sugary. Will be back to try more of their drinks when weather heats up.

Very nicely decorated! Beautiful! I ordered their Peach Teaffogato, which is like a peach slushy with black tea according to the staff there. It wasn't bad at all. We also added a peach jelly as topping in our drink. If you check in, you should receive 1 free topping to claim in the store. I also ordered their original egg waffle. This is the first Gong Cha place I saw that has egg waffle. One of the reason that draws me here because Gong Cha that I've been to in Philly doesn't have egg waffle! And surprisingly, it was not too bad. I like the crispy texture but in my opinion, the taste is missing some egg flavor though. Overall, I would go back for more.

For a quick boba tea fix, I love to come to Gong Cha! It is easy to order, either order at one of their kiosks or with their cashier. Service is quick too and I love the inside, so cute!! This is a good place to meet with friends also!

Finally some good bobba tea on the mainland. My hubby and I tried this place on a whim the other day while we waited for his new car to be delivered. I read about them on yelp and really thought the inside was cool. It was also giving bobba home tea vibes....our place for bobba in Hawai'i.

The young man behind the counter was super helpf, although without my contacts in there was no helping me, since I am essentially a blind bat. I wish I would have spotted the large order monitor things when I first walked in. Next time, there will definitely be a next time. Great bobba and a fairly close to home location.

Another absolutely adorable Gong Cha in the books! Super cute lighting and a fake cherry blossom tree indoors! Gives you the sort of mini nature, fairytale vibes! They also had a little sample tub of their Lemon Yogurt (subtle sweetness, really liked) with tiny cute sample cups! They also had easy to use kiosk machines and the workers ensured the drinks came out fairly quick! I ordered the Wintermelon (30% sugar) with peach jelly - absolutely love their star shaped peach jellies! Not too sweet and fun texture to chew!

Would recommend 8/10 to enjoy various flavors, enjoy the ambiance, and take some cute pictures

I love the Boba always sweet & fresh! I go here at least once a week & never had any problems.
*I didn't like the smoothie but it's just my personal preference but I absolutely love the lattes with oat milk and extra brown sugar.
