We have both gone into the store and donated outside. Inside the store it is organized like most other Goodwill stores. Clean and neat and friendly staff. Outside, the donation area has reserved parking for dropoffs, and there are large bins that are nicely labeled to let you know which bin to place your items in. Although this isn't our closest Goodwill store, it is the one we go to as it seems to be well organized, new items daily, and rather large.

This is one of the nicer thrift stores; it's large and fairly well organized. The majority of the merchandise is comprised of clothing, but they also have a decent selection of books, household items and toys. Furniture selection is scant, however.
It's clean, with no odd smells, and they do have bathrooms for customers, as well as dressing rooms to try on clothing. Since it's located in a shopping plaza, there's plenty of parking.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kris W.Westerly, RI923862131Jul 29, 2013128 check-ins
It's a Goodwill so don't go in expecting Saks 5th Avenue!
All thrift shops are hit or miss. What makes this Goodwill stand out is its size. They do a good job arranging the merchandise & if you dig you're bound to find something. There's plenty to look through & quite a bit of variety too.
There's ample parking out front & it's not in a sketchy spot of Groton. Plus if you don't have any luck finding something (which I wouldn't expect) you can always try the TJMaxx next door.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lindsey G.Manassas, VA24877Jan 27, 2009First to Review
It's the Goodwill, so you know it's awesome. This one has a pretty nice selection of clothes, dinnerware, and toys, but there isn't a whole lot in the way of furniture. But I do manage to find some cool, unique stuff. A lovely floral lamp for $6, some vintage looking coasters for 50 cents a piece - oh and I stocked up on Christmas decorations, all for $11.
There's a military discount on Tuesdays, and they sometimes have green tag sales where items are half off. Do check out the vintage clothing rack. Most of it is straight out of the Golden Girls, but you can find some sweet looking 60s and 70s dresses too.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Desiree M.Groton, CT455May 24, 2011
I've been looking for a good place to find vintage clothing up here. I thought I'd try this goodwill because 1)It's the closest to home, and 2)I loved the goodwill I went to back home.
The place is pretty large and sells anything from clothing to furniture to house hold doodads.
I was specifically looking for vintage clothing so I went straight to the vintage rack first. A little disappointing because there wasn't much there. I did end up finding a very lovely sequin top in excellent condition though.
I will be checking in more often to see if the stock gets any better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lili C.Boston, MA40197Aug 5, 2015
This Goodwill is probably the best in the area. Honestly, it's bomb. The clothing selection is amazing, I found so many things I wanted to buy, and pricing is pretty great. Plus once you're done looking here there's a T.J. Maxx right next door!
