Goodwill Westville Store & Donation Center

I love me a Goodwill and it's a new facility to do there is little to complain about. When the kid and I visited, the clerk was open to his suggestions which I appreciated.
It ain't an easy job keeping the jam packed racks tidy, the shelves of nick nacks organized and so on. I give mad props to the folks who constantly have to clean up after unruly customers.
To future customers, BYO bag - save a whale, save Mother Earth !

I don't know if it's new management or what, but I've been going here recently looking for furniture and the like after purchasing a new house, and some of the prices are almost comical.

Highlights: $999 for a beat-up old entertainment center that looks like it came right from the 90's, and a $24.99 plate set. The plate set had an ebay listing printout on top of it, showing that the original set cost $50, as if that should somehow make their price reasonable. Which it isn't, because they're used dishes, and this is goodwill. For $25, I might as well spend a little more to buy new dishes.... that haven't been used.

I still like their clothes section and find gems here and there, but get a kick out of seeing Old Navy- type branded clothes in their "boutique" sections, selling for more than I could buy them on sale in the store minus pit stains and loose threads.

I was very impressed with this Goodwill - it's spacious, well-organized, and well-lit. Their clothing selection is extensive and most items are in very good (clean, no holes) condition. I found an Ann Taylor linen skirt for $3, two J. Crew long sleeve men's shirts for about $5 each, a knit sweater for $5, a GAP button up for $6.50 (my splurge) and a Guatemalan belt for $1.50. Definitely worth checking out & supporting!

The smallest and weakest of the goodwill stores in the area.

The only great thing about this store is that it's never really crowded, so you might be able to find a few gems. Be warned though, it's always tough to park, since parking is shared with other businesses around.

That being said, their stock is low since it's the smallest store around and their turnaround is long, since there's not a lot of foot traffic. The neighborhood is pretty average so don't expect treasure.

Overall, not worth going out of your way, but, as with all goodwill stores, if you live in the area, it's worth popping in for the occasional purchase that supports the community.

Plenty of items that are priced for more than what you would buy them in a store (unless having been pre-loved and donated add to their value). Plenty of dollar store stuff marked 3$ instead of 1. I have been going regularly but never found anything worth mention here.
