Love, love, LOVE this place! Stumbled upon it while walking through the gardens off of Dachauerstr this past summer. My boyfriend and I went there with his parents, while they were visiting us, and the food was out of this world delicious. The portions are big enough for two people (if you're willing to share delicious goodness), the prices are totally reasonable. If I remember correctly for 4 people and 3 entrees it was around 30 euros (incl drinks). Last time I got this special lamb and potato dish. The lamb was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were the right texture and had perfect seasoning; also, I think that it came with a salad as well - which was equally as yummy.

The second time I went to this restaurant it was PACKED. It was one of the last nice, warm sunny days here in Munich, and the biergarten area of the restaurant was almost packed to the gills - which is a great thing! This time, I ordered the mussels that they had on special, and my boyfriend got the fried calamari salad, which was also on special. The mussels came with the option of two different sauces, one white wine sauce, and one tomato garlic sauce; I opted for the tomato garlic sauce. When they put the heaping bowl of mussels in front of me my eyes became as big as saucers. This 9 euro dish was HUGE, totally enough for two people, but I don't like to share my mussels so I gladly devoured the entire thing; even sopping up the sauce with bread at the end. If it were not considered bad manners I probably would have licked the bowl. I LOVE mussels, and it has been very sad for me to live in Munich where the good moderately priced seafood restaurants are far and few between. The mussels were perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious.

I have to also give my boyfriend's dish two big thumbs up as well. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked. Sometimes when you get fried calamari it can become chewy... not this time! This portion was also large enough for two people - luckily my boyfriend is much nicer than I am and shared some of his calamari with me :).

The people are friendly at this establishment, the food is absolutely phenomenal, and the price is right! If you want some good seafood, this is your place; if you want some good Greek food this is your place.

      Yum.
