Grounds for Dismissal Coffee

One of my very favs coffee shop in the area! Their flavors are always on point and they even offer a very delicious and IG worthy coffee flight (or matcha currently!!). It is located in an office building, you can park basically anywhere in the lot but there are some 30 mins parking in front of the building for the coffee shop.

My current go to is their earl white matcha! It is so addicting! But if you are not a sweets type of person, make sure to ask for less sweet. Fun fact: their syrups are made in house! No preservatives! You can snag some too if they have any extra in their fridge section or pre order them on IG when it comes up!

Love the hidden location, great hidden gem vibe. Big open dog friendly patio. Super friendly service! And the coffee was to die for. The bacon and sausage breakfast quesadilla wasn't bad, lacked a little salsa. Great gobs of cheese, maybe a bit light on the sausage but overall quite tasty and definitely filling.

The coffee flight! So good! We did a seasonal one and it was really, really great. We will definitely be back to try it again, or a different one, and I loved that you could do it with coffee OR matcha. A lot of really great things about this place and we will be back despite three stars. It's just....

It took almost 40 minutes for us to get our coffee. The quesadilla took maybe 15, and we finished it, and we waited and waited and we had to remind someone about or order as we watched other people who showed up after us get coffee flights but we still waited. Once we asked the staff we got ours very quickly, and again it was badass, but it was just a bummer it took so long.

But hey, mistakes happen, and we are not gonna let it stop us from coming back here again.

@gfdcoffee is such a great place! Inventive, tasty food and outstanding coffee flights! Located in the ground floor of an office building and has been there since 2019. We met two of the three owners Carissa and Tyler. Wonderful people.
You have got to try the Coffee Flight. We had the "Fan Favorite". Oh boy! You're in for a treat! There's two other flights: The "Chocolate Lovers"and the "Seasonal".

BAGEL AVOCADO TOAST
1 bagel of your choice split & served open faced. Each side has cream cheese, tomato, sliced avocado, salt and pepper. We recommend adding bacon!

Turkey, crispy bacon, avocado, & cheese inside of a flour tortilla quesadilla.

I have been wanting to come here for so long and I finally made it with some girlfriends!

We ordered their valentines coffee flight and it was perfect! It's a lot of coffee for one, so we split it between 3 people. The price was reasonable too! I think the breakdown was $7 per person.

I cannot wait to come back and try other seasonal flights!

Honestly it was just fine. We got the chocolate lovers flight and I really couldn't taste much of a difference in the four different flavors after one sip. And we mixed them well too. Seating was sparse and the inside wasn't very commercial/industrial feeling. The saving grace here really was the staff, our barista was so polite and just overall great.

Grounds for Dismissal has excellent coffee and a very chill vibe. They have an extensive menu of beverages as well as some breakfast and sandwich items. It's a great place to hang out with friends or small groups. There are games and puzzles for you to enjoy as you sip on your beverage. A small conference room is available for free on a first come first serve basis. Great little gem in the lobby of an office building in Aurora.

Checked out this place for the first time about a month ago. GPS literally failed me and led me to the opposite side of the street so it was a bit tricky to find but I did not give up. When in pursuit of coffee and food, just stay the course! Location is basically inside an office building. Seems a bit odd but inside there's ample seating, games to play, etc. so it's quite fun and cozy. There's plenty of free parking due to the location.

As far as food and drinks go: French toast was very good. Breakfast sandwich needed more cheese. Coffee sampler was just ok. I thought a lot of the flavors were lost. For example, I couldn't really taste the Nutella in one or the lavender in another. By the end, all the drinks tasted the same to me. Thankfully I like coffee, but it was definitely the strongest flavor coming through for each one. It's still a fun concept but I think could be better executed either by combining fewer items together in one drink or maybe adding more of certain ingredients so that they are distinguishable.

Service was fine. You can order at the front counter or via QR on the tables. We enjoyed playing some of the outdoor games available!

I originally saw their fall coffee flights on Instagram so I drove half an hour to check them out.

What I didn't know is that the recommendation is one flight for two people as for one it's too much. I was glad the barista warned me about it.

Service:
Friendly and welcoming! They made it a point to let me know that a flight would be way too much coffee.

Ambiance:
It is located in a business park which gives it a bit of a university coffee shop (not necessarily a bad thing). I did struggle to find it at first.

Food (aka coffee):
I ordered the caramel apple latte with oat milk. It tasted more like caramel and not really apple which is okay but I think my coffee was over roasted? There was something off about it

I wanna bring a friend and try the flight again because I am sure it was just a one time thing and the flights look super fun. I also want to try their food soon!

Huzzah for being open on the weekends! Instagram brought me in here, I was intrigued by their coffee flights and knew I couldn't come here by myself, so made a friend go with me in the way to dropping them off at the airport. She isn't team iced coffee or latte so we skipped the coffee flight and got our standard Americano.
Staff was helpful and friendly, it was a sleepy Sunday morning so we had time to chat.
Location is a little ofd in an office building but hey, times are weird and we do what we gotta do. Not sure if I would make a special trip here if I didn't want a flight and didn't live in the area, I think their flights seem to draw people in.

My friend and I went here for a bob ross paint and sip coffee night! Included in the ticket were all the supplies you needed for painting and a coffee flight. It was a fun evening with bob Ross!! They are a newer business and continue to expand on their menu and events they offer. They also sell fun products from local artists like backpacks, purses, aprons etc. the staff was very friendly and were able to make the drinks customized to people's dietary needs. The coffee flights are a perfect instagramable coffee moment, and it's a fun place to go with friends. They often change up the menu too so keep an eye out for new fun flavors! They are also hoping to continue to host more events in the space- so it's worth following them on social media for updates. It is located in an office building but keep an eye out for their new sign, definitely worth checking out for your next coffee trip!
