Really great authentic tacos. Meat is a little dry but they have a fantastic salsa bar to provide some add-ins. Mexican coke and Tecate beer.....we enjoyed it very much and the staff is very helpful and considerate.

Great little place in Lebanon. The food is delicious and customer service is pretty good. Only reason customer service doesn't get a 5 is because the cashier does not let customers know at the front that you need to take your order down to the kitchen.

I had the menudo and my better half had the carne asada plate. I LOVED THE MENUDO!!! It's pretty close in flavor to what my mom makes and the tortillas are yum! The menudo just needed crushed chili flakes. They had dried chilies and cut up jalapeños to add spice but it's not the same. My better half loved the carne asada. I tried a piece of the asada and it was delicious. His plate also came with small salad, rice and beans. The portions are big. Over all I give them a 4.4. Give them a try, they will not disappoint!

Actually this is a 5-Star review minus the tip of one star. The tip is because my burrito came apart almost immediately. But it was so delicious that I was willing to eat the remains with a knife and fork. Seriously, the al pastor is wonderful. The bite I had of husband's carne asada taco was also amazing. But the carnitas fries...ohhhh. First of all the fries were seasoned fries which I love. They were topped with pickled jalapeño, salsa, and real Mexican sour cream. And carnitas. Carnitas. Let me say it again: carnitas. Crispy, tender chunks of pork. Drool.

Yeah, we'll be back.

Tacos are good. Burrito was good. But...Chicken quesadilla was amazing! OMG! Glad to have a great Mexican food stop & market outside Nashville!

I have been looking for true, authentic Mexican food either in or outside of the Nashville area for a long time and it's been difficult. Like 1 place over the last 5 years who really hit the spot. Well it's time to make that 2 places now, people!!!!!! I had seen the yelp reviews on this and decided to give it a shot. They did not disappoint! It's half store, half restaurant? That's how I would explain it. They have all the goods you can get and real, authentic food choices. My boyfriend and I shared the menudo, 2 carnita tacos on corn with onion and cilantro, 1 barbacoa sope, chips and salsa, and a cup of their horchata! It was ALL SO GOOD! If you can't feel my excitement then I'm sorry lol. It was just so good. My only thing is that I like my menudo with hominy and theirs didn't have that in it. But it was so good I didn't even care. It was served with warm corn tortillas and they tasted like my best friends grandmas homemade ones! Try this place! You won't be sorry:

I'm from San Diego CA, and was craving some familiar taco shop Mexican food. Based on reviews, I thought this would be our new place! My husband and I got the nachos, along with fish, Carnitas, carne Asada, and Pastor tacos. I was so excited to dive in, but ended up super disappointed. The nachos were decent, but nothing special, and while I was hoping for homemade, crispy chips, they ended up seeming to come from a bag. The tacos though were the most disappointing, With the fish being my least favorite. The Fish itself wasn't crispy, and it had a chipotle sauce on top, which I didn't enjoy. The tortillas for all of the tacos were pretty fresh tasting, but the Carnitas and carne Asada itself didn't have tons of flavor. The pastor was super interesting: Instead of being chunks that were shaved off of a spit, the meat was ground-ish pork that was colored pink or red. The texture really wasn't appealing to me, nor was the flavor anything super tasty or familiar. We were excited to support a local place, and find a new favorite Mexican spot! Unfortunately though, we're going to have to keep looking.

Tacos al pastor were awesome. My son had the tacos asada and loved them as well. We will definitely be back soon.

This is great, truly authentic food. The menudo is great, fresh tasting and well cooked but only available on Saturday and Sunday.
