Paid gumshoe for their private services. she stated that she would investigate for one week, after that she would create a final report and give it to me. i hired her and paid her the full amount 11 weeks ago and she has done nothing but give me the run around. I have called about 4 times to request an update. she has refused to give me an update or any information. i told her this was very time sensitive. last time we talked she hung up on me, she just sent me a message saying to not contact her again. She took off with my money and has not provided any services. i would highly recommend you stay faaarrr away and take your money elsewhere.

What a bizarre experience it was trying to work with this place. At first Mary seemed nice and compassionate about helping me track down whether some things told to my son by my ex husband were true or not. I sent her $500 and told her the specific info I needed about property ownerships, marriage/divorces, and a picture of who he's currently living with. I wanted to know if it was the same person my son's father introduced him to a year ago. First she got me the name of this woman and mentioned that she found out this woman goes to the same hair place as her and that maybe she could work up a conversation with her. I said she deserves to know this man has three kids in three different countries and abandoned my son as an infant and ignored him thru most of his childhood. Then she told me this person had been married 7 times. But the list of marriages/divorces showed 4 of the men as having the same last name. I said that seemed highly unlikely (slightly!). She got irritated and said obviously it was common law situations re: collateral for properties. With only two small properties listed that didn't explain the situation and I said I dont' understand, can you pl explain. She shot back an annoyed sounding email "there's nothing to explain....it's obvious." Then she sent me a photo that she said was of the person my ex has been living with for several years....but when I showed the picture to my son, he said that is NOT the right person he met last year!

When I emailed Mary and said, "I realize there could be several people with the same name but that is not the right one and actually she looks about 20 years younger than we know she is. Can you please try to find an accurate photo...maybe coming out of the house or going into the hair place..." Apparently it made her furious that I pointed out she'd given me WRONG info (maybe intentionally, thinking I wouldn't know!) and emailed me "I'm sick of all your questions and why do you want a photo anyway?" She did not say, "Oh I'm sorry! I made a mistake! Let me keep looking." A few hours later she emailed again saying "I'm done with this and I'm GOING TO TELL THEM WHAT YOU'RE DOING."

I was shocked. Of course she didn't offer me a penny back and never acknowledged the phony photo she sent me. I have no idea if she did go to these people and tell them what info I was trying to track down but if she did it was extremely bizarre considering confidentiality is the basis of investigative work!

I now believe she's a complete fraud. She operates by giving the initial impression that she really cares and knows how to get the info you're looking for. Then she sends out bogus info and/or backs off after taking your money.

Emailed Mary Ringo and inquired about services. I emailed basic details hoping to hear back price and any other details they may need to to accurately quote me a price. What I got back was an email I would assume was written by someone on Craigs list. Totally unprofessional and she was claiming I was "shopping for the cheap price". ON HER REPLY TO MY INQUIRY! No price was even discussed. You get what you pay for, right off the bat I was not impressed and will not be spending my money with someone totally unprofessional. I'll go to Craig's list for that. price wasn't even an issue. Mary engaged in a back and forth tirade and bombarded me with senseless emails attaching me. I simply emailed to inquire about services. This back and forth attacking and name calling was extremely unprofessional let alone unnecessary. She claimed I was a "business" and that I needed to get off iCloud and stop using go daddy....I'm a private individual...I don't know where she got this information from. I'm clearly not running a business. That alone questions this companies "investigative skill", if in fact they have any. If I could give a negative rating I would. Mind you people....this was just a inquiry...I would hate to see how the relationship is when you hire them. They have friends and family write the reviews for them. I hope she is not associated with another company in town with the same last name....
