Gym Precision

Very poor service. Had to schedule two appointments in one week.

First appt they told me they would be there at 8 am sharp. Technician didnt show. no one from Gym Precision answered phone. Called 3 times. They didn't provide me with any contact info for technician. I left. 40 minutes later the technician called to say he was running late in traffic.

Rescheduled a few days later. They assumed me technician would be present at 8 am sharp again. Gave me number for technician. No showed again. Technician didn't answer. This time Gym Precision said the technician was changed. 45 minutes later a different technician showed up in spite of me spending a lot of time explaining why I needed someone there at 8 am and them saying they would be twice. They are not communicating with customers in a way that provides good service or doing anything to ensure technicians arrive on time or communicate when they wont.

I drove an hour one way to buy a treadmill from this store. They represented it as 5 years old and in great condition. When I showed up, it was 10+ years old and part of the frame was broken. They'd tried to patch it with some kind of foam, then put a sticker over it to hide it.

Completely lied about it to make the sale, hoping I wouldn't notice what a pile of junk this thing was. When I called him out on what bad condition it was in and how it was way older than he said, he offered me another $100 off to make the sale. No thanks. Can't trust you and don't know what else you're lying about. I felt like they were trying to scam me.

I have use Gym Precision in the past, when my treadmill was acting up I knew where to call, I was so surprise they have the same employee from many years, that says a lot, they arrive on time and diagnose and fix my treadmill on site, they are very reasonable and honest, I'm happy to support a local company.

Made an appointment with the time and date they chose, Tuesday 10am-12pm. No call No show. I had to call after the 2 hour window and was told they would call me back, which also did not happen. When I called a second time I was told "there must be some type of emergency because the technician is not calling me back". Seemed like an excuse the way it was said to me. Told me the only thing she could do is reschedule. Forget about the time off of work I took and the 2 plus hours wasted.

Customer Service 101: Call the customer and let them know that you are going to be late or unable to make the appointment, preferably before the 2 hours expired.

Since Covid I'm sure gym home repair services are busier but no need to lose your customer service skills over it.

I wanted to get a treadmill for home during the corona virus lock down. My gym was closed, and I pretty much need a vigorous work out once a day. After looking on the internet for new treadmills, and being astounded at the laughably high prices asked for them, I checked out Craig's List. I was lucky to stumble across Gym Precision's ad for used treadmills (among other equipment). I emailed & was answered immediately. And within 24 hours, I had tried the chosen treadmill, bought it, had it delivered, and was set up and ready to go. All for $450 plus $50 delivery fee. The guys were polite, communicative, helpful, and their inventory and prices are the most decent in town. I recommended Gym Precision to all my friends, a couple of whom contacted them with the same gratifying results. Love these guys!

Was recommended this place and finally checked it out when I was in the market for a treadmill for my home gym. I recently had a bad experience working with Nordictrack via Best Buy and was a bit hesitant to invest in another treadmill but Rick put all my fears to rest. We gave them a call in the morning to get a sense of what they had in stock and what our options were. They let us know that they had just got some new stock the day before and gave us the info on the brands and models but recommended we come down and take a look. We debated between two options but decided to go with a Life Fitness treadmill. We were able to "check out" quickly and scheduled the delivery within the week. Rick was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave us a great deal. I am very happy so far working with Gym Precision and with my treadmill. In the future, when I need to add additional machines or equipment to my home they will be my first call. They also do repairs and maintenance which may definitely be handy if I have any issues down the road too. Thank you guys!

Had one of the worst customer service experiences in years.

Called this company to fix a cable and they were a complete no show during their scheduled window. When I called them they told me they were running hours behind and would not be able to come at all and they could reschedule for five days later. Wtf? Completely unapologetic and when were they going to call to say they weren't coming?

I asked if they could refer me to someone else that could come earlier and the woman on the phone said there was no one else in the area that fixes fitness equipment which is hilariously wrong.

I was able to find someone on yelp in 2 minutes with 5 stars and charges half the price.

When my Gym closed due to covid I was left with minimal workout options. I wanted something that would not take up too much space and low cost. My friend suggested "Gym Precision". I soon learned they has gently used ellipticals available at a great price. When I contacted the owner he sent me a few photos of what was available, after I made my choice it was a hassle free delivery within a few days of my purchase. Gym Precision has made it easy for me to commit to having a piece of Gym quality equipment in my home with their great prices and amazing equipment options. If your in the market for gym equipment look no further than "Gym Precision!

Responsive but not helpful. I called GP because the TV on my treadmill was not functioning. I was charged $159 for a service visit for someone to come verify that the TV was in fact, not functioning. Then they called me several days later to apologize, but the company who made the treadmill had been bought by another company, and they would not be able to get parts, End of story. I told them the make and model of the unit when I called them the first time - if they knew they could never get parts they could have told me, and saved me $159.

The tech who came to my home was nice and polite, and the gentleman who called to tell me they couldn't do anything was nice and polite, but the overall approach to solving the problem was not very well thought out.

I can't say enough good about the folks at Gym Precision. So responsive, easy to deal with. My thanks to Eliana for her great follow up and scheduling, she is a great communicator! Prisco did a great job on the repair!
