The food was spectacular - you could taste the love put into it, the owners were heart warming and welcoming and the little shop was sweet and you felt like you were in your mom's kitchen! Would definitely recommend and visit again if given the chance to!

This was recommended and it didn't disappoint!

Located in the Arroios Market this quaint spot was a full house! The very gracious husband and wife hosts were eager to describe and recommend the wonders that they prepare here. We felt a strong urge to become friends with them, rather than just tourists dropping by for a quick bite. We enjoyed the personalized touches. The owner told us that all the goat cheese used in their menu items come from the highest mountains in Portugal.

With all the great options available to us it was tough to pick. Revolto de Ovos Farinheira left you craving for more. You can't go wrong with any item on their simple yet tasty menu. Thankfully the wife who was also the chef was happy to offer suggestions which we ultimately devoured within minutes.

Small restaurant owned by a lovely couple who provided excellent service. I say excellent because that's the best service we have received in Lisbon compared to other places. However, we weren't a fan of the food. I think it was a bit let down given all the raving reviews. We tried two items and they both lacked a bit of flavor. Basic toast, cheese, and choice of toppings. We found the food to be bland (beef) and salty (mushroom).

Sonia, who learned to cook from her grandmothers, and Pedro serve an amazing spread of simple home cooking. We had the shrimp cooked in a broth of olive oil and garlic and served with croutons. Then mushrooms served with toast. Then Blood sausage served on toast with homemade tomato sauce. All delicious.

What a wonderful family-run restaurants. Simple food, but SO delicious. I haven't stopped talking about the Portuguese sausages and cured meat-- truly like no other! We can't get meats like that in the U.S.. The taste is unique, unlike any Italian sausage or cured meat. This small restaurant is run by husband and wife. The wife does all the cooking, and the husband explains the menu and recommends. We each got a meal, clams, and a bottle of good wine, and the total came to less than $30 euro! Incredibly cheap and so tasty. We loved this place, despite it being off the beaten path and a bit outside of the center. Highly recommend, but make sure you make a reservation! Cash only.

Traditional locally sourced food, fair prices on food and drinks, extremely accommodating owner who will explain the menu to you in detail. Overall great dining experience, the opposite of a tourist trap, highly recommend.

This place is so unique. They have such a simple menu - most of the items are just toasted white bread with different local cheeses - but they taste incredible, unique, and authentic. The couple who run the place are very sweet and put a lot of effort in to make your visit as good as possible.

Such a nice place! I was welcomed so friendly by the owner and he took all the time to explain me the menu. Had lovely tapas. Too bad I needed to catch a flight cause would've loved to eat some more.

GO. Seriously. Everything we had on the menu was delicious. The food is obviously as fresh as could be, and the ingredients of high quality. The morcela was our favorite. The wine was excellent as well. The best part of Ha Tapas was the service. It is run by a husband and wife team that obviously care about their place, the food, the wine, and the patrons. They are so nice, speak excellent English, and are quick with recommendations and explanations. This place is worth trekking out to if you're in Lisbon, and one of the main reasons I'll be going back to Lisbon.
