H&M Hair Salon

Went in for simple hair color only (just my roots). Mida told me my bill was $105. I asked why and she told me it was because she "styled" my hair. She blew it dry. If I'd walked out with wet hair it would have only been $70. Would have been nice of her to tell me beforehand.
I will NEVER return. I've never experienced being charged to have my hair dried after color. It was ridiculous.

Mida is terrific at cutting and styling curly hair! She works quickly and confidently. The results are perfect.

I don't write lots of reviews but I was pretty upset about the outcome of my hair at h&m. I have 2b loose waves & curls and went for an ouidad cut. One woman cut it, another styled, and the woman who styled it did not know how to style my type of hair. Part of the price for a curly cut is styling and I left looking like an absolute mess, after I came in so excited. They put gel in my hair after using a fine tooth comb when it was drying, both red flags for curly hair. Everyone knows you don't touch hair when it's drying other than diffusing, but they were diffusing and teasing it and breaking and straightening my curls with their hands. They were very stingy with the product. At the end of my visit they used the word WEIRD to describe my hair and told me my hair wasn't curly. I was almost in tears. Nah, you just styled it wrong. I came in with fresh out of the shower hair with spirals and waves and ringlets galore and left with a literal rats nest. I left a nice tip but sort of regret it.

I have been going to Mida at H & M Salon for many years....and have sent many of my clients from Saks and Nordstrom Waterside as well. The reviews have always been thumbs up and over the top!!
I'm in my sixties - Mida never fails to take years off of my face every time I see her! She is truly gifted in all hair types as well as specializing in wavy and curly hair as she attended the very elite Ouidad School in NYC for training in this art. I would highly recommend her - don't wait to book as she is very busy in season especially!

Best haircut ever with Gina Genta Palencia ....she is a miracle worker ...the staff is so welcoming and pleasant ....I would not recommend going anywhere but this salon in Naples
