Sandi came with a high recommendation from my cousin and aunt who'd gotten their hair cut at her new space at A Salon in the Preston Village shopping center. I'd been thinking about donating my hair for a while, since I'd been growing it out for almost three years, and when my cousin mentioned that Sandi does free cuts for people donating their hair, and also that her salon was super close to my house, I had to jump at the chance.

It was a pleasure working with her on Saturday morning. I showed her a picture of the type of cut I was going for and she rendered it wonderfully, and also gave me a bunch of tips on how to style it and give it volume (my hair is extremely straight, even when short)! All through the haircut I noticed how meticulous she was about every aspect of the cut. I also asked her if it would be possible to color my hair dark red without having to bleach parts of it (it's naturally black), and she was super open to working with me on what could be done. Needless to say, I've got another color appointment coming up in a couple of weeks!

My wife went to Sandi Arensman salon last week. She did an absolutely FANTASTIC job styling and cutting my wife's hair!

My wife's hair was very damaged from long term light coloring. It looks AMAZING now. Best I've seen it in years!

If you need anything related to hair, this is the place to go. Sandi is wonderful, professional, and very talented. She really takes the time to do what your hair needs, and makes it look great every time! I've been to her three times, and wouldn't go to anyone else.

I will say she did a good job fixing my damaged hair. The issue I have is that I spent almost 250$ on her products only to find out that swimming with her products in my hair turned my hair green! No shampoo I have ever used has turned my hair that color. I had to go in for another appointment just so she could get the green out, and even after that she just told me to 'never get my hair wet in a pool again, and it won't happen'. I have a pool in my backyard. telling me to stop getting my hair wet in a pool is like telling a dog not to shake off after being wet. It's unreasonable. My box dye didn't even turn my hair green. I appreciate what she did. But I will not be going back!

Sandi was an answer to my prayers. I've been looking for someone to be a team-advisor in my hair cut, color, and style. She is perfect! Knowledgeable expertise plus she's so adorable. If you are looking for someone new... this is your gal!

I think Sandi is a artist! I walked in one day just wanting highlights and she asked me about my health. Sandi was informed of my health issues which had a direct affect on my hair and she explained why highlights would not help and the chemistry involved. I was so relieved..she was talking about something I understand. Sandi is well educated and works tirelessly to make you feel better and look better. Sandi put color on my hair improving the texture and body. We discussed hair extensions and I had my doubts. Sandi explained the benefits of extensions as this would help my hair grow and 4 weeks later my hair has grown. I walked in looking a little less than alright and walked out a new woman. Wow what a difference! I highly recommend Sandi she is absolutely the best! I have never been so pleased.. a real blessing to have found her.

Sandi is definitely a talented colorist, and I appreciate the coloring she did for my hair. However, she did not listen to what I wanted for my hair cut and it took months to grow out. She also sent an unprofessional email suggesting I didn't pay for my services when she didn't manage her voucher numbers correctly. I got a Groupon for myself in December and my mom found one this summer, so they were two different Groupon deals for different services. She talks through the entire appointment and doesn't really listen to your thoughts on what you want for your hair because she feels she knows best. Don't go here if you have a vision for what your style would be and want to be heard as a client.

I had been looking all over to find a stylist who uses Olaplex with the coloring process. Sandi helped me get my hair in better condition with a treatment plan. She is well informed with the implications of different chemical formulas. She is a perfectionist in the results which I appreciate because I don't have the energy to micromanage my style or create my own vision for hair. I can tell her how I want my hair to look and feel confident that it will turn out according to my positive expectations. I have been going back to her consistently which is nice because I spent years shopping around for a stylist. Most importantly, she tells me ahead of time the costs so I can be prepared.

Sandi is a well-rounded stylist who has worked in hair product development, professional magazine shoots, stylist educator, and of course several years behind the chair. Her years of experience and knowledge is obvious when you're in her chair. She recently relocated to the DFW area so book with her before it becomes impossible!
