fit me in their schedules ! I finally found a place in SC that is professional , has good prices,efficient & gets the job done !

Didn't get what I expected. My sew in didn't maintain for a week. My frontal doesn't even look how I thought it would look. Need more training if you are going to charge people these kinds of prices.

STAY AWAY! I went yesterday for a full head of weave. First off, let me say I'm not from here so I checked Yelp first. My stylist was 30 minutes late. She arrived at 10:30 and I was there until 4pm and my weave looks horrible!!! Yrs, I had to leave by 4pm. She actually started the sew in at 1pm and she stated I'll be done in an hour. I re-used my hair and she didn't even wash it OR brush it OR take the old thread out of it. She doesn't know how to close a weave properly nor does she know where to close it. Needless to say I have to get my hair done TODAY by a professional. I would post a pic but I'm too ashamed! Yelp MAKES you give a star rating or there wouldn't be one!

So I had box braids done here about 3 weeks ago by Bridgette. She worked pretty quickly (maybe too quickly considering the state of affairs now) and I didn't have too many issues. I was told that hair was included in the price given but it would've been nice to know that it was cheap synthetic hair (I would've purchase my own quality hair prior to my appt). She spent the majority of my visit on the phone with her sister because she was having work done at her home, however, she never stopped working so I didn't have an issue. I was actually kind of impressed with that fact. Unfortunately now I wish that my head had had her full attention. 3 weeks and I've already lost a couple of braids, I can see my new growth, my hair is actually showing through the braid and they are beginning to frizz. Now I'm maintaining them properly and wrapping them up at night so I don't know what the issue is but I'm not happy. What I don't have time for is to sit in this place again and have them fixed. I'm going to go somewhere with a proven track record and have them redone. I don't have the time or money to keep repeating these actions but I can't afford to look a mess either. They might be good at some things but according to the other review weaves aren't their thing either.

Scheduled an appt for the deva cut for my natural hair. Stylist had never even heard of a deva cut. When I made the appointment on the phone with the owner, why didn't she say that they don't have a stylist who does the deva cut. Bait and switch/fasle advertising is not a good look for a hair salon. She did a blowout and curled my a hair in a style that was fit for someone's grandmother. Stay away!!!!

this salon needs to be shut down!!! let me say unprofessional to its fullest... my hair appointment was for 10:45 and arrived 20 mins early. they didn't know about my appointment, then the stylist to do my hair had just begun her clients hair at 10:25... so i sat and waited til 11:25 after each stylist including the owner continues to do their clients hair without so much of an apology. finally i get up to leave, bout 5 mins into my drive they call to tell me "oh shes ready for you now"... gets back to the salon the lady can not braid, tries another stylist she couldn't give me the style that i wanted which is the style on their page!!!! runnnnnnnnnnn because theyre lying about those styles on their page, those styles were not done by their stylist!!!! horrible establishment... you will regret your first visit like i did

I would like to to thank Latrecia for going above and beyond on my sew-in. I wasn't a happy customer until I met her, the owner, and she made sure I left her shop this time satisfied and happy by slaying my hair!! She did a sickening cut and bob style with my sew-in. Thanks for your kind gestures and making sure your customers leave happy. This is an owner/stylist that cares about her business and customers. If you do have a problem with Hair Candy beauty shop, please talk to her first. Again, THANKS!!!
