I went to this place with my family. The burgers were great and the fries were good too. The burgers are easy to bite into and have a good size. The service was great because all toppings were free and extra straws were provided. The ambiance of the place works well because they play nice music outside and it has an older feel to it even though you order outside the place and eat outside because they do not have an eating area. Though the food was a little bit expensive, it's definitely a good place to go to every so often.

My boyfriend and I went about a month ago and it was awful. We ordered online because it was cold and we got up there and she gaves us two of the exact same order. We told her that that's not what he ordered and she just kept arguing. My boyfriend said that he didn't order that online and eventually she admitted that sometimes the online orders don't come through right. We got our fixed orders and honestly the food was not good. The malt that I ordered was great, but the burger was very bland, no seasoning on the burger at all - not worth the price or hassle.

This place was a great summertime experience. It's on a busy intersection with plenty of parking. They have outdoor seating for small and larger parties. Picnic tables and smaller bistro tables. It was a cool experience to see a menu as tall as you displayed on the outside so it's super easy to read. You order through a window and walk around to the other side of the building to pick up your order.
I order the Big Cheese and it's was amazing. It's in a brioche bun and there is plenty of beef. Trust me!!!
My nephew order the No "bull" and it was HUGE! The burger was the size of his head. 2 third pound patties topped with your choice of cheese (American) and between the patties a mound of fresh fries. They are very generous with the fries in the burger and the side of cheese fries was super huge. 2 people can share 1 order. The cheese cup was great so don't worry. They have the good cheese.
The service here was amazing and made the experience smooth and very memorable. You can see the whole kitchen behind the glass wrap around windows. They looked like they were enjoying their job and having fun talking to customers. I will be back!!!!

Good food from burgers to ice cream ! The burgers are good and they also have vegetarian options. My fav is the ice cream! I ordered from my vehicle and then went to the window to pickup! Easy process ! Onion rings, burger, 2 ice creams approximately $30!

      Ice cream is amazing !!!

I will be back for sure! The burger did not taste cheap like some burger joints do. Everything was hot and fresh just like I like my food. I got the big cheese burger with bacon. And added the mix sauce. It was a decent size as well. And really nice size of fries to.

Fries do not come with the burger. You have to purchase separate

      Total $14.91

Give them a try you won't be disappointed .

How could I not stop at a place called Hamburger Heaven?!? I have been around the Chicagoland area and had a wide variety of experiences with varying levels of decadence in terms of Hamburgers. But none are as ostentatious as to refer to themselves as Heaven. So I had great expectations.

Those expectations, however, were not met on this occasion. I ordered the Longhorn Burger. It was in no way bad, but it didn't strike me as anything special compared to other Burger joints. Their fries were barely salted and a little undercooked, I didn't end up finishing them because they were cold and moist.

The highlight of my experience was trying their malt with caramel ice cream, with cookie dough toppings. Although it was not the best shake/malt I have had in the area, it was not bad. I would not seek it out, in other words. But if you are in the area, know that they have a great consistency and thickness, while also being heavy handed on the cookie dough, which is never a bad thing.

All in all, I would probably go back again to give them another shot. I ordered online and picked up. Next time I'd just go up to the window to get the full experience. Some things just don't transfer to the digital realm. The physical menu looked far better than the menu online. So I would keep that in mind.

They staff was great. They were warm and welcoming. I also liked how it had this 50s drive in vibe to it. Not a bad place to try out if you are looking for something quick.

Establishment, classic all American hamburger, soda and ice cream shop is a walk up only restaurant, offering outdoor picnic table seating in the warmer months. These little hole in the wall places are so nostalgic, you just have to stop. Was so hungry and excited for my ice cream that I even forgot to take a picture! Had the traditional swirl cone with chocolate and vanilla and tried the hot fudge sundae. Should have asked for more fudge, it was truly decadent and worth the calories!! A must try....and the next time I'll be back for the burgers!!

We had some time to kill today, so we decided to try Hamburger Heaven. The joint is an old school corner walk up, hamburger stop. Neon signs resemble something from the 50's. There is no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor patio seats. The men had quite a few options as well! The small hamburger resembles the size of a Big Mac, the medium is a single patty 1/3lb, and god knows how big the large is lol.

We went with a traditional burger. She got the small and I got the medium. Both are big. The burgers were juicy and tasted good, but mine had an extreme amount of Mayo/mustard. So bad that I had to hold the burger from the back to prevent the meat from sliding out of the bun. Way way too much sauce! Kind of gross. I end we up wiping almost all of it off. I do recommend getting grilled onions in place of regular ones. The fries are decent. They were a little soggy.

Overall, hamburger Heaven is worth trying but tell them to go east on their sauces! Get plenty of napkins (I had to ask for them) because it is messy.

Nothing like standing outside on a chilly day waiting for your burger and fries, right?

Well, trust me, this place makes the wait worthwhile. Old-fashioned fun and service means old-fashioned quality and taste. Generous portions, too. Make sure you try the green sauce - an Elmhurst tradition for 75 years and counting!

The food is good but it's over priced for what it is.

$15 for a burger fries and drink and you can't even get a refill. Cheap managers. Definitely doesn't deserve the single "$" sign, should be $$ at best.
