Hamels came to the rescue and installed a new HVAC. I was lucky and got the owner out who went above and beyond. He even came back that night to see if the house was properly cooling.

The installation crew took their time to properly change everything with the new installation. They kept all the tools in a small area and tried to limit the noise since I was at home working and my dog was a nervous mess. I appreciated all of the people who helped us out in the heat of summer in La Mesa!! I highly suggest Hamels!!

Hamel's came through again with another A/C issue at our short term rental.

Hamels just completed a furnace installation and all ductwork. It was done in a professional and outstanding manner by Thomas Zack and Angel. upon completion, they went through the house to make sure there were no fingerprints on the walls or chaseway, and even vacuumed The floors what was outstanding was upon the initial visit they covered all the floors with tarps. The work comes with a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Should anyone need AC or heater work? I would definitely recommend Hamels heating and air conditioning for those who need these services. Kudos to Luke and Nick for their expert team.

My car broke down the other day in a remote area. A Hamel serviceman pulled over to help me. My car was severely overheating. The serviceman went to get me water to cool it down. I just want to say how much I appreciated his assistance and his kindness. It is refreshing to know the world is full of good people! Thank you again and again.

Since we bought our home we have had nothing but issues and repairs on our heating and air system every few months. It always seemed to be the same parts being replaced.

Frustrated we really looked around for someone different and found Hamel's. I have to say I think they are the best in the business.

In one trip the owner fixed an issue that so many other companies missed. It's been almost 2 years now and we haven't had the problem show back up.

I called Hamels because our AC went out and our regular HVAC guy wasn't available. I was so glad that they were able to send someone out that same day. He was polite, knowledgeable, explained everything as he was working and gave us options for how to proceed. He was back within 2 days with the needed part and completed the repair, but in the meantime left us with cool air so our household of "littles" and mommy weren't dying from the heat. They were so good at explaining our systems and offering very common sense advice that we decided to sign up for their service contract that will save us money on future inspections, filter changes, etc. It truly is a family owned company and that is reflected in their strong commitment to customer service and honesty.

I was talking to a friend about it and he highly recommended Luke Hamel at Hamel's Air Conditioning & Heating.
Knowing my friend and his work ethic, I knew he would not steer me wrong.
Sure enough, as soon as I texted Luke he responded immediately, came out and diagnosed the problems, and gave me a quote...which was very reasonable.
We agreed and he ordered the parts and as promised, was back at our restaurant with Matt, his assistant, got the work done in no time at all.
They kept the work area clean and cleaned up after themselves when they were done.
Everything is working great and I hope to see some savings on my electric bill since the equipment is working properly now.

Called and spoke with Luke and he actually turned away my business letting me know it would be much cheaper to buy a whole new unit rather than have him repair my current unit. Wow, that's what I call integrity!

5 stars is not enough. Luke took the time to walk me through the entire process of replacing my air conditioning even though he knew I was not within his calling area. He said "let me see how I still can help..." after he found out I was not a potential customer. I can only imagine the professionalism and expertise he shows to his customers once he is hired. Luke, I wish you serviced LA!
