The owner and employees (which are like family) take extreme pride in their customer service! The hospitality and attention to detail is incredible. The food is impeccable and delicious! It's always packed because the food is THAT good. So, please be a little patient when waiting for seating. It's definitely worth it -- the food comes out last! The ambiance is pretty and relaxing. It includes a full bar and great coffee served in the best ceramic mugs. The lemon pancakes are a must try. You'll always be happy at Happy Cafe!

One of the best local cafes in Hampton Roads. The food is great. The atmosphere is soothing. The service, there's none better.

Let go of fast food and the big chain restaurants and check out Happy Cafe. It will become your new happy place to eat.

This was just amazing and soo satisfying. Our plates were clean after we finished.
I also had their stawalada smoothie and it was very creamy and rich in taste.
Me and my mom and my best friend wanted to try something new. When we walked in the place it was so cozy and clean. The staff were very friendly and nice.
I would definitely recommend coming here!! We had breakfast and it felt like we were at home.
I can't wait to come back here with more friends and family !! Thank you!!

I've always wanted to try this place!! We came for brunch, and the specials were super exciting! I got the blueberry pancake, the flavor was perfect. Not too sweet, but that blueberry pops. THE HASH BROWNS!!!! YOU MUST GET THE HASH BROWNS!!!! They are cheesy goodness. The seasoning make these potatoes dance in your mouth. The French toast was yummy and fluffy. My brother got the seafood dish with Cajun sauce and potatoes. That was my favorite, so so delicious. The Cajun sauce brings everything together so perfectly. Service was great, and the staff were all kind and helpful. The place is decorated with flowers and other cute decor. Definitely a must go. I really want to go again for lunch because the sandwiches look really good. To next time!

This place is it! Friendly and great food! Fresh and flavorful. I had the shrimp and grits and it was the best I've ever had!

The food was really good, no complaints there at all. I really enjoyed the whole vibe of the place and the people, they also had really good music. Although it was pretty busy we didn't wait too long to get seated. However, our waiter was not very attentive and it took quite a while to order and then get our food and when it arrived I was missing my bacon. They handled that pretty quickly tho and got it out to me in minutes. I would definitely return!

I seriously was considering not posting so I could keep this gem of a place all to myself! Cute cafe near Northampton Blvd and Diamond Springs. Greeted immediately and put on a wait list. 30 minute estimate for a brunch wait was only 15 minutes before we were seated. Server came right away for our drink orders. Food came out super fast and was delicious! The bread for the avocado toast was SO good. The bacon and eggs were hot and perfect. The hostess talked to us for a bit when waiting for our food. When we left, the kitchen and staff all thanked us and wished us a good day. I felt like I became part of their family on this first visit and can't wait to go back. Amazing prices, fast service, great food!

I've gotten TO-GO food from here a couple times and it was always good! This was my first time eating in on a Sunday for brunch and it was packed, the service was slow but i expected that with the amount of people. The food and drinks were great, portions are a little small but the presentation was nice. We got the wild berry mimosas & The bar tender was picking fruit with her hand to put into drinks which is always a turn off but overall it was decent. I'd get food to go again.

Such a great place and experience. Came in with a party of three. Very welcoming upon arrival. The server was very nice and attentive even with a steady growing crowd. I ordered the mimosa flight. Bourbon wings with French toast, cheese egg as and hash brown potatoes. When I say I TORE IT UP! My friends were pleased with their meal also. Everything was fresh and tasty. Manager constantly walked around to interact and check in with guests. Loved the vibe and music. Bathrooms were clean and very presentable. Will definitely return!

Wonderful breakfast place and the food is really tasty! This is a great place to meet up with some friends! I love how our server came up with suggestions for my little one to eat! She enjoyed the bowl of fruit.
We ordered avocado toast for her as well. But, it looked so good that I ended up sharing the toast with the table. It was very tasty!
I ordered the waffle and wings special. I enjoyed eating the wings. It was nice and crispy! I was glad it wasn't greasy!
This place serves vegan food! It's nice to know that there is more than one option for vegan food!
We really enjoyed the service! Our server was great! I'm glad there was someone who bussed the plates. I've been pretty disappointed when it comes to eating and then paying such an expensive amount for the food. I was pleasantly surprised and my family and friends were happy campers!
