Hard Luck Poolhall Bar & Lounge

Met a bunch of co-workers there and they refused to give us more than one table for seven people even though there were five empty tables. They stated they already had another "company" onsite and we should have made a reservation. It wasn't a company outing yet they insisted it was policy they leave four tables open for anyone that walked in that wanted a table. After buying two rounds of drinks and arguing at length they "allowed" us to purchase another table for an hour. After we played a few games, we left with seven tables open at the time of departure. The place only has 12 tables.

I support hard working folks and small business but the nonsense and lack of common sense of both the staff and whomever is directing them is a joke. I sincerely hope the business owners realize poor policies and lack of training is impacting their profits - if making a buck is actually a goal.

Great drinks great vibes music can be a little louder especially by the bar but great service and bartender

Great pool hall. The food is decent bar food (wings, mozz sticks, chicken fingers, etc). Nothing to write home about. They bring the food and drinks to you table, full bar with bartenders who are pleasant and attentive.. The bathroom are kept clean. The music was ok. Overall was a great vibe tho. Definitely recommended for a good time.

Absolutely awful service. Waited 30+ minutes for our drinks which never arrived. Female manager denied me and an entire group of 21+ because she "didn't feel comfortable" serving us yet NEVER stated that she believed us to be underage or having faulty identification. She DID NOT ID any of us when we ordered our drinks. Not to mention it was my friends 21st birthday! She also sat at the bar basically pretending to be a customer and ignored us when we arrived. Genuinely disgusted by the way she treated us, she should be fired for the sake of the business. I noticed I am not the only person to have had issues with her and I will not be returning or recommending. They seem to be fine on business though with all the sketchy characters they DO serve there...

Came to this place twice to give it a second try.
The first time we went there we were told we needed a reservation other wise we can't play. Which is totally understandable as it was a Friday night. As we we leaving, the owner said a table freed up so we decided to stay... we ordered drinks and food it took forever to get it. Most of the order never came. We decided to cancel it just leave and go to another pool hall elsewhere.

The second time we went, we decided to call ahead to see if we can reserve a table. We were told no reservations were needed and it's first come first serve. No problem. We get there and ask for a table, we are met with needing to put our names down on a list and there are 5 parties waiting ahead. The owner comes out being super rude looking at us like it was a crazy concept or never had heard of when we had politely asked if there is any way possible we can be contacted when the table freed. He said, " no there is no way we can possibly do that and that we needed to stay the entire time while waiting.
We decided to put our name down, but after about 30 mins we had to leave as there was a heavy cloud of smoke because they don't have any vents to capture the smoke from the fried foods they served. Our entire party had to leave as we felt like we were suffocating.

Safe to say, we will not be coming back to this establishment which sucks because it would have been a nice addition to White plains.

Took my friend's very real ID (22 years) and told us it was an obvious fake and denied us entry. I've heard it has bad food and ambiance as well.

the business model in this place is anti-customer. the non-playing spectators are charged for hanging out and if you want to get an additional table for them, i was told they were holding the tables for locals... aren't we the customers?? we will not return

Don't patronize; absolutely the most unreasonable business policy. A group of 8 of us from three states were meeting here after a change of plans. They wouldn't let us reserve two tables for that same day because they didn't do reservations under 48 hours. mind you this was for 4pm on a Friday afternoon. we walked in and 75% of the place was not in use! They wouldn't give us two adjacent tables because we were a "party= two or more tables" and didn't reserve 48 hours in advance. So the intentionally split us up four or five tables away. We rolled our eyes at their ridiculous and unwavering policy. So instead of two hour rental of two tables, and. ordering drinks and food for 8 people, we limited ours let to one hour and nothing extra. I be this place is out of
business in a year.

Watch out, people! This place is a total rip-off! So, get this: when you call to book a table, they slap you with a ridiculous $200 reservation fee per table. No mention of these prices anywhere, mind you. They just make up some random number. And get this, the regular prices are actually way cheaper than what they claim on the phone. When I confronted the lady at the front desk about it, she just laughed and said they charge so much because it's a "busy" night and they guarantee tables. But guess what? There were five other empty tables on a freaking Saturday night, during their supposed peak hours. It's like they're running a shady operation, you know? My advice: skip this place and go play pool somewhere else.

Awesome place, good food, great service, good music, very clean and inviting. I can't wait to go back...
