We went at end of August One Saturday. Free parking on unpaved lot. Picking was right next to the parking lot. It was convenient. Only peaches. No other vegetables to pick.
I called in the morning. Recording stated there are peaches to pick but didn't specify which kind. Upon arrival, I find out only yellow peaches and nectarines available. White peaches and donut peaches available for purchase only at the table.
$20 for 1-3 persons but we had 4 people ( including 2 kids) got in no problem. The admission included 7 lb of fruit. Anything extra was $2.85 per pound.
Tree rows are numbered. We were told to pick between number 35 to 46. We didn't see many peaches but we saw lots of nectarines. We saw other trees full of peaches but they were blocked and supervised by staff.
We ended up getting over 10 lb of fruit and paid extra. Got some donut peaches for $8, about 6 of them in a small basket.
There were stands selling corn on a cob, lemonade, snow cones, popcorn and ice cream from a truck. No other children activities.
Spanish is the language there even the sign was written in Spanish. The ladies at the cashier spoke English.
Not a five star because the phone recording didn't specify what kind of peaches available. I especially love the donut peaches which was available last weekend but not this time. Also I didn't see many peaches on trees. Many were picked already or fallen on the ground, giving out some rotten fruity smell.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 10, 2020
Large peach orchard. We went on a Sunday, a few days after a big storm. Got there first thing in the morning and were surprised to find the parking lot already half full.
Entrance was $4 per person, but you the first $4 worth of peaches back. And it was only $2/Lb thereafter. A bargain.
Even with the loss of much fruit and some trees from the storm, we were able to find about 80 pounds of peaches after an hour. Most needed a few more days to soften. But, some of us enjoy their tartness and crunchiness anyway.
And despite having large sections of the farm roped off, due to fallen trees, there was plenty of space for our family to roam without bumping into other people.
There was also a stand selling grilled corn. And, there were plenty of portopotties, with anti bac available.
Our family had a nice time and took home enough peaches to spread around a few families. And it was a bargain compared to other farms we've been to. Sweet!
Made the hour drive from Queens worth it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mike B.Smithtown, NY1511Aug 24, 2022
Went to buy some peaches at the farm stand and was very disappointed. First of all I had no idea what was going on as ALL signs are in Spanish only. I believe there are still some English speaking residents on Long Island. The peaches they had for sale were horrible. I picked out the best looking large bucket which had 12 peaches and 3 were completely rotten and inedible. 6 others were covered in black spots (fungus). $12 got me 3 edible peaches. Another Long Island gem down the tubes. I don't know who Hadley is but don't buy a peach farm if you do not know how to run it!

It was a a nice place but not much space to pick. Apple trees were bare. The website says we could have picked peaches but then we weren't allowed. Only apples. Not too bad on the prices. But it wasn't really family friendly.

This used to be Davis Peach Farm and it is clearly under new ownership. If you speak Spanish, you'll be better able to understand what's going on. The few rows in which we were permitted to use were in disarray; trash left behind and nothing was maintained. The farm stand no longer sells produce or pies/jams they once did. It's sad to see the old refrigerators and shelves empty. It's clear the owners are not farmers; there were just lots of men hanging around and no one spoke much English. No one could tell us what kinds of apples were ready. We were only told "No peach." I fear this once pristine orchard will be sold to a developer.

Peaches are great if you are willing to drop a ton of money. They were the rudest customer service I have ever encountered. I brought my family of 4 to pick your own peaches. I had called the day before and I was told that since I had two children , I would be charged $10 a bag to pick. When I showed up, they charged $10 for the first 3 people but the additional person would be another $10 I tried to explain that I spoke to someone on the phone that told me differently but it was useless trying to explain this to them. So I sat out and let my family pick. They cam back in 5 minutes with a small bag. I thought you were allowed to fill up the bag but apparently the first 5 pounds is what your $10 paid for. Each additional pound was 2 dollars. Keep in mind the peaches are huge so 1 peach is close to a pound. Not worth the trip at all.
