This is the best noodle shop I have ever eaten. The service is very good. The service is proactive and they gave me discount coupons. I want to share this noodle shop with everyone.I really love the service.
By the way, the restaurant had unlimited filling noodles.
Amazing service this morning.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Juliette L.Laguna Beach, CA01Mar 19, 2024

Solid spot for Dan Dan Noodles! The best part is that they have free noodle refills!
Dan Dan Noodles are available spicy and non-spicy. I can't handle a lot of spice an ordered non-spicy but wound up using the chili oil on top of the table because they weren't spicy enough. The spicy version was a little too spicy but I found out later that you can order it less spicy which would be perfect for me! They also have other noodles and appetizers available.
You access their menu via QR code and order online. A complimentary small dish of pickled cucumbers was included. Unlike Sup Noodle Bar which is located in the same plaza, you won't have to wait a long time for your table nor have difficulty trying to flag down your server to try to get a refill on your noodles. It's a shame this place isn't busier (though easier for me to get a table)!
Plenty of parking available in the lot.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 23, 20241 check-in
The food was 10/10. Tasty, flavorful, and fast service. Enjoyed everything we ordered. Well... maybe not the short rib steak. Kinda a weird place to order it but it was my fault.
I took one star off because a couple of other tables were not cleaned. The leftover food etc was still on them and the cleaning cart full of dirty plates was just sitting in the middle of the walkway. Not a deal breaker but needs improvement.
Nonetheless I'm willing to come back. The szechuan style beef noodle was just too good.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Vivian T.Los Angeles, CA5689331Apr 7, 2024
Loved this Sichuan noodle spot.
I was craving Dan Dan Noodles and this place did not disappoint. The ingredients were delicious and portion was just right. I'm already craving it now!
The green pepper wontons are also a must order! This was a surprising twist on the typical red chili wonton in that it had a green chili oil sauce with mala numbing spice. Big fan. If you're into spice it's a medium level and I could totally spoon the sauce over rice or noodles, very addicting! The pork (I believe) was springy in texture and wonton wrapper was thin and silky which was a great mouthfeel.
The tomato beef noodles were really nice. Noodles felt like they were handmade and the broth was light yet umami and packed with flavor. The beef was falling apart and just the right level of fattiness!
The employees were so sweet and attentive. They didn't hover but always came around with water, nice because of the mala spice! I believe the owner came by and chatted with us and was so sweet. We will be back and bring friends.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 22, 2024
3.5 stars!
I thoroughly enjoyed the tomato beef noodle soup that I got to try the second back. The first time there, they ran out of the tomato beef noodle so I tried their spicy beef noodle instead. The spicy beef noodle was too spicy for me especially when it is "mala" spice (aka spicy and numbing)!! So the tomato beef noodle was its much nicer counterpart. The broth was also lighter and less greasy. The beef was braised and so it was tender but a little tough. The noodle was thin and fresh. I loved that the bowl of soup came out scolding hot!!
The Dan Dan noodle although mild was made with the Sichuan peppercorns and so again, the MALA spice! I just can't! This was also a no for me.
Seasonal vegetables was a simple steamed greens that could have been included in the noodle soup. Still
Good.
Service: pretty minimal. You scan a QR code on the table and place your order. The staff brings the food and the bill when you're ready. That was the extent of the service we got.
This small shop is good for a quick bite. Both times that we've been here there were only 3-4 parties. We'd come back just for the tomato beef noodle and possibly pork jowl skewers if they have them.Helpful 11Thanks 3Love this 9Oh no 0 - Mar 4, 2024
He's Noodle Zone is my absolute favorite spot for beef noodle in all of Southern California!! This place outbeats any spot in the 626 area and they need to open one up in the Bay ASAP!!
Like most people in the plaza, I normally go to Sup Noodle Bar but one day I decided to give He's Noodle a shot since I heard such good things and saw that they also have 'endless' noodle refills. That was probably the greatest decision in my life and boy I have not been back to that Sup Noodle Bar location since. No hate against Sup Noodle Bar but their wait times are outrageous at any time of the day. Don't get me wrong, I would be at Sup Noodle every week if there was no wait but every time I've been to He's Noodle Zone, there has been none. Although I'm not complaining, it's sad to see how such a great place with great service and amazing food can be over shadowed. I know they did open somewhat recently so I have hope that they will get the attention that they deserve.
Their broth is soooo good and their meat is extremely tender. Their noodles are cooked perfectly and taste so fresh every time you order a refill. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu and if there's any restaurant in Irvine you should check out, this spot would be in my top 3!Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - 2232432Mar 10, 2024
I always go here when I'm craving some Dan Dan Noodles in Irvine!
This is one of the smaller restaurants located in Heritage Plaza, but the great thing about this place is you get seated immediately and they have quick service. For ordering, you scan a QR code and order online. First time I've done this while dining in, and I think it's very convenient.
I usually get the Dan Dan Noodles with Less Spicy. Perfect spice level for those who don't have a high spice tolerance like me! They also have free noodle refills but I usually get too full to get a refill hahaha.
Overall, I've loved my experience here every time and will be coming here again!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 22, 2024
I LOVE NOODLES and this place definitely satisfied my cravings!!
'dan dan noodles': there was a generous amount of different toppings, including the minced pork. LOVED the noodle texture and thought they were perfectly chewy! was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer free noodle refills too!! also i was still able to fully enjoy this dish with regular spice level, it honestly wasn't that spicy!
'sichuan hot and spicy dumplings': the wontons were flavorful and I really enjoyed the broth as well, it was slightly sweet and there was that numbing sichuan spice, but it was not overwhelming at all!
when dining in, you order thru the QR code at the table and they bring the food to you! service was quick and staff was nice. overall, everything was really good and I can't wait to come back to try their other noodle dishes!Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 2
