Health Haven Market

Realizing things change but in HHM case not for the better. COVID must be having an impact on courteous friendly service. Needless to say I will no longer patronize.

I have been coming to this store for years. They have changed ownership/employees but always seem to have what I am looking for. Well stocked with multiple brands and varieties of both supplements and food. Only issue is it is a little pricey. Other than that, great place!

Wow. Had been a loyal customer at this place for many years--decades, in fact. Started noticing the help was disappearing, and with it, the knowledge and personal attention we'd always relished. Soon found out that the original owner had sold the place and whoa...the change. Prices are up, help is gone or indifferent. Gone are the callbacks when my requested out-of-stock items are back. Gone, also, is the % discount. The lunches, which we used to count on for a weekly time-saver, have been made less appetizing--skimpy, in fact. The only thing that seems to be "up" here are the prices. I'll get my healthy food at the local markets that have fresher stuff a lower cost, and go to the original owner's new supplement and natural health care store in Moorestown. These new owners are stupid, or have a business death-wish. How can you wreck a great thing so quickly?

For some reason mine and several other negative reviews of this spot got deleted completely.
I don't know who has the authority to delete all of their negative reviews? This just speaks to honesty. Suddenly appearing are positive reviews! Very suspicious.

Food way overpriced! All of the old friendly staff is gone.
Place is disorganized and owners kids run all over.

I'm not the kind of girl who seeks out healthy food, obvi. But when some friends dragged me to Health Haven for lunch the other day, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal. My hummus and melted cheese sandwich on whole grain bread was served with their "health salad," which is lettuce and carrot topped with a mixture of nuts, seeds and dried fruits. The accompanying dressing was amazing, and for someone who claims not to even like salads, I sure didn't hesitate to sop up the remaining dressing with my bread crust.

When I finished eating, I went to the other side of the building to look into some herbs to relieve my sleep-ruining restless legs. I was immediately shown to a bottle of magical vitamins that have allowed my limbs to relax.

A yummy lunch and a good night's sleep? Now that's what I call One Stop Shopping!

Health Haven is under new management and my previous review is no longer valid.

I have been coming here since 1989 so this has to tell you something about this place.
Dealing with Donna and now the new owners I always had a good experience and treated with respect. They take the time to answer all my questions and with my asthma I have a lot of questions. They are always very helpful and take the time to explain what I need and what will be helpful to me.
Some of these negative comments are so un call for give them a chance to get established with all the vendors.

Place is very organized, clean and friendly.

This part of NJ is seriously hurting in the way of all-natural, whole foods-oriented shopping marts and lunch spots. As in Health Haven is pretty much all they're working with. But the place recently expanded to include a much larger grocery and vitamin section and the cafe has a decent selection of quick, healthy meals. So at least the one place in town has a bit more to offer now.

Today I got the Veggie Burger with Health Salad combo and an Honest Tea Sublime Maté. Nice light eats for the first official hot day of the year.

Great local knowledgeable natural nutritional store. Owners are great, very helpful with my requests and questions.

Absolutely love their salads. The cafe makes it easy to stop by for a quick, healthy and tasty lunch.
