I wandered into Heart & Hands yesterday on a rare day off, and it was like god wanted to give me a really nice gift - a shopping experience that unfolded into such a fun, surprising, indulgent hour of self - care and style discovery. I lived in San Francisco 35 years and my taste veers away from what I'd PREVIOUSLY perceived as hike-y, new - age-y Ashland style and toward a more polished, urban look. But Elise has made such a beautiful shop right here in Ashland, full of such beautiful, chic, stylish pieces, many of which she's made herself! Gorgeous dresses, beautiful jewelry, fabulous hats! And very decent prices for very above average stuff. I ended up with three beautiful tops, a great pair of earrings, and elegant necklace, and a custom-ordered skirt, and a desire to visit that store every chance I get. Come in and experience the glam!

There are some really special dresses in this shop. I bought one for my wife in June 2017 and another a few days ago. Great place with very friendly service. The dresses are pricey but my wife loves them.

Best of all they have 'husband chairs'. I can relax in comfort while my wife shops for the dress of her dreams. More places need these, as they create a low pressure sales atmosphere.

This is a really special store. I had a wonderful experience with owner Elise, who encouraged me to try on clothes a bit out of my comfort zone that turned out to be... well, amazing. Her designs flatter and are very feminine, but are also made of quality cloth that can take washing. Other designers carried in the store offer hand-painted, one-of-a-kind pieces that are things you'll hand down to your kids. A wide range of jewelry, from casual to ta-dah, and a really tremendous scarf collection round things out.

I ordered two pieces and got them promptly with no problems. I will definitely go to this store again when I visit Ashland, and highly recommend stopping in when you have a little time to try things on. Really worth it.

What a beautiful shop with carefully curated items for the discerning shopper. Everything in this store is beautiful, functional, and has a great story. From the one of a kind robes from recycled saris to the Elise Peters washable dry-able silk pieces, this store has an amazing selection of timeless and unique fashions. Ms. Peters is herself a wonderful attendant and was very helpful in the selection process. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

What a wonderful experience my girlfriend and I had at Heart & Hands. We're so glad we thought to go into that store while shopping in Ashland. We were greeted with such kindness by Else, the owner and designer. She immediately started finding things she thought would look good on us and boy was she right. When we tried on something that was not perfect, she would find something that was. We are so excited by the gorgeous dresses we got, the tops, necklaces and coordinated earrings. Everything is so beautiful! From the feel of the fabric, the colors to the design that hugs the body in just the right way. I can't wait to have excuses to wear all the beautiful things I got. I will be the envy of all my girlfriends. Oh, and my husband thinks I look amazing in everything I got. Yay!
