We stopped on a special day when they opened for our train tour. I appreciate them going the extra mile to serve this group in their day off.
The team here asked us to order at the bar before being seated. I don't know if that is their normal process. If it is...it might work well for the restaurants logistics but it creates a less than desirable dinning feel for me. The order takers were very friendly and helpful. They hustled to process the train passengers.
The seating area is a large open room. It feels like an old factory turned beer garden. The floors are a nice hardwood. Not much decor or atmosphere in this large room. They did have a singer as entertainment which wasn't the best.
For food I started with the potstickers. These weren't your traditional Chinese potsticker. They were over fried and tough. The filling was vegan instead of pork. It didn't work for me and wasn't very tasty. Kinda tough and flavorless. The sweet chili sauce really helped.
I also tried the BBQ Mac Burrito. The BBQ was good but not very plentiful. It was a bit hard to find that taste. The Mac & Cheese was nice and creamy. The noodles were soft. Served alone I think they would be fine. Stuffed in a burrito....not a fan of.
Please be aware that they don't give free refills on soda. We didn't have table service outside of someone dropping off food.
Overall I will give them four stars for opening up special for the train tour. Otherwise I was rather unimpressed with this establishments process and food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael H.Murfreesboro, TN04Mar 19, 2024
Go to lunch spot. Great flat breads. Interesting sandwiches. Good beer. What more could one want?

Good food and fun place! There is a big area in the back with axe throwing and indoor farmer's markets in the winter. Their specials are always good. And, of course, the beer is great!

I had the vegan potstickers, gazpacho and side salad. They were all delicious! My husband had the Mac and cheese- very good. The service was great! She made us feel welcome!

Vegan options, great place for food and drinks. A lot of fun activities to do with family. I love the nights they have karaoke, or just have somebody in there to sing live music. A great hang out please.

HOLY MOLY - I love this place. Drinks, super duper friendly waitress, yummy flights at a good price, and omg you must taste the MAC 'N' CHEESE. Please don't underestimate this dish; also you're able to customize as well. Very happy one of my friends suggested this place after our long hike - we'll definitely be back.

Not average bar food. Menu is unique and they use better ingredients than most pub grub. Regular menu is great, but the specials are always interesting too. Salads are huge and use nice greens rather than iceberg. Cool place with fun activities. Staffs always friendly and attentive.

The old brick building was really cool. Finding a place to park was tricky. The food was pretty good. We met friends there and shared appetizers: asparagus fries=good, queso bites=good, mushrooms=good, I didn't try the Buffalo rangoons but the others said they were pretty good. But the beer, that's where the only 3 star comes from. I ordered the amber ale. It was flat. I told the waitress but nothing was done even when I asked her to ask the bartender what was going on. The other beers where fine and not flat like the amber.
All and all, it's a cool place to go to experience. Probably won't be back though.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
