Hiro Sushi

This place must have new owners or someone gave them horrible advice.
Food is just not good anymore.
I thought it may have been a bad night but
After telling my friend, he and his wife said the same thing

Love hiro this place is so great for a fun lunch date
Portions are huge and the staff is so attentive and polite
Food is killer and they have a more diverse sushi selection then most places

I am so in love with this whole I'm the wall place I found! Such good sushi spot! I had the nigiri salmon and yellowtail and it was by far the freshest I've had. Yes, it is a little outdated as far as ambiance goes but the main reason why you come is for the SUSHI. I also had spicy edamame which was AMAZING! The sauce they put on it was home made!
Not to mention the service is really sweet too! They make sure you are well take care of here!

All in all I needed to make a review on this place because I loved it so much.

This used to be my favorite location to get sushi but now it's hit or miss. I love the convenience of ordering online for pickup but be sure to be specific in what you want. One order, all my rolls were wrapped up like a sushi burrito and the next order a hot roll was placed in the same container as a cold roll resulting in slimy rice. The fish always seems fresh though and they have a large selection of specialty rolls.

Despite these errors, I still enjoy an occasional lunch here (they have a great lunch bento special). I think it would be better for dine in than take out. Prices are reasonable and it's the only sushi in the immediate area.

Walked into the place and there was a really odd smell. Sat down- only one other couple in the restaurant and immediately was helped by a very nice waitress. There was a couple at the bar- I think employees, FaceTiming with a relative and it was REALLY loud and annoying. There were actually a bunch of noises that were really irritating. The food was just ok. Edamame were good. Sushi vey average. I wouldn't go back

Delicious food and great service! I tried Hiro sushi Friday for lunch and absolutely loved the food that I came back the next day. Both times I got a bento box and each time it was appetizing and full of flavor. I also ordered sweet potato sushi and I was not disappointed. My boyfriend got the steak hibachi which he devoured. Will be back in the future!

Always on point! Great rolls and decent prices. This place has been here for years and seems to have a loyal customer base in the Midlothian area. The staff is pleasant and efficient. My favorite go-to sushi joint in the neighborhood. Never disappointed.

Although the management has changed in the last few months they have still had great service every time we have been there.

It is my favorite place for sushi in the Richmond area especially because their lunch specials are a steal. Three rolls, miso, and salad with ginger dressing for $11.99, you can't beat it.

Hiro sushi is one of my favorite sushi spots in Midlothian. Me and my husband have been coming here for years. We finally brought our 2.5 year old with us. He can be a little loud at times so we asked to be seated on the patio. The food is always good and so fresh. Only one waitress was working but she was an absolute rockstar. The food came out fast and everything was delicious.
