We received a recommendation from a family member for Rich Hall of Homeworx when we were looking for a home inspection. It was a pleasure to work with him throughout the process. I called Rich to set up an appointment for the initial inspection and he said he would be available for my requested date. When the sellers requested that we push back the inspection an extra day due to delayed movers, I was able to send Rich a text and he confirmed the date change.

He arrived early on the day of the inspection and got right to work. Rich took photos (with an actual camera!) and wrote notes as he went through each element of the home. Once he was done with the inspection, he went over each issue with us and showed us what he observed, where practical. (Obviously we weren't going to be climbing on the roof with him.) He also did a great job of communicating with our real estate agent.

The next day, he sent a full report that included all his photos and a detailed explanation for each section of the home inspection. It made it very easy to list the minor repairs that we wanted to request of the seller. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rich to anyone looking for a great home inspector!

I have mixed feelings about this company. When he did our home inspection he seemed to be very thorough and explained what he was doing and why very well. We received the inspection report on the same day and he even ran a recall report for all of the appliances in the home which my agent said is not common. What I didn't like is that when my real.estate agent and the listing agent tried to contact him with questions he never responded. It finally took me calling and asking the agent's questions to get any kind of answer. What he said was that he didn't respond because he thought what he said was self-explanatory. I didn't like that. Obviously it wasn't self-explanatory if they had questions.

Completely missed some serious roof problems on our house. According to neighbors, a tree had hit the house some time back and only the FRONT of the roof was new. We are looking at a new roof (totally new) within the next year or so.
