Hot Chicken Republic

Woah! That was one delicious meal. I think I spoke to the owner, such a wonderful person. And there was a very nice lady in the back that just seemed so happy to be there. Thank you, great customer service is always a plus.

As far as the food, the portions are huge. The chicken strips were so big, I didn't know there was a piece of toast in the bottom. The chicken was extra crispy and so flavorful. We decided to go with the "hot" level. It had a kick, but I think I can handle the spiciest one. The french fries are something else. I couldn't figure out what they are seasoned with, but they were absolutely perfect. I didn't get to finish everything due to the large portions, but I did manage to try the mac n cheese. I don't know how to explain the flavors, but they just work well together.

I am a HUGE chicken sandwich fan and have searched far and wide for the best crispy chicken sandwich. This place is AMAZING. When I tell you 10/10 IN EVERY CATEGORYYYY !!! ‍

Portion size is insanely huge. The crisp on the chicken is immaculate. It is well seasoned and perfectly spicy. Fries are thick and well seasoned as well. 3-5 in house made sauces available and all are delicious. The pickles, slaw and huge brioche bun bun are always FRESH and so so tasty.

Be prepared for the full itis to set in afterwards. The slider + fries is plenty alone, but if you really want to go ham / have more leftovers... go for the slider + tender combo.

The service here is also untouchable ! The owner is the sweetest dude you'll meet, and is very attentive to his customers; offering extra drinks, napkins, sauces, and constantly checking if you're experience is enjoyable

Been here 4 times and every time it is MOUTH WATERING DELICIOUS. This place is worth the drive from wherever you are. Trussssttt !

My new go to hot chicken place!
The chicken is juicy and crusted to perfection.
They have a variety of sauces that are so good it's hard to choose which one is my favorite. The fries are crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside so great.
And the Korean fried wings chef's kiss.
The only thing I would say would be the downfall is the pickles. But I could be rather picky with my pickles. Too tangy for my taste.
The service was absolutely phenomenal. Even though we got the big family dinner box the chef came out and still offered us more fries. He also gave us more napkins
Will be coming back many times more in the future! Great blend of Korean and Nashville hot flavors.

This place is close to Holt in Pomona, and I decided to venture out and see what this spot is about.

Come here if you're hungry. I didn't eat all day, and this was more than filling. Customer service is awesome. The gentleman who took my order chatted it up with me on streetwear since he noticed my clothing, so it's always cool to connect.

The sandwich was amazing, and I recommend you get extra whatever that green sauce was. It was like a spicy avocado salsa that you can get at El Pollo Loco but creamier. I could be way off too with what it actually is.

The accompanying strips were decent. One of them had too much batter and seasoning, so I didn't finish it.

Overall though, great taste. Price is worth the quantity and customer service here. Would I come back here? Definitely yes.

This small establishment is great! Parking is plentiful, customer service is over the top, and the ambiance is casual as you'd expect.

I ordered the Chicken Tender Combo and I had no complaints on anything. The chicken had a flaky, light and crispy batter. It was seasoned nicely and gave off a decent amount of heat at medium spice level. The fries I have to say though were fantastic. There were multiple sauces that were freshly made and given and none of them tasted bad! The owner was possibly the one serving us that day and when he overheard me saying I like one of the sauces, he raced over and gave another portion of that sauce to me. Would definitely come back to support this small business since they deserve it.

There was this Asian cashier who took my order he's so NICE and CUTE he's a character and treats every customer the same i love him also the food is YUMMY and good boba too!

Get in your cars and drop by this mom and pop chicken restaurant for some of the best Nashville style chicken and Korean chicken in one place. Picture being able to enjoy both at one meal! Doesn't get any better!
We were in Claremont and found this local eatery thanks to Yelp. I typed in "chicken" and this place was one of the first restaurants to come up and with its fabulous reviews decided to give it a try. While this restaurant is in a not so nice area of Pomona, DO NOT let this deter you from giving this place a try.

It's located in a strip mall in the El Super shopping center next to a Tmobile store. Lots of parking and on our visit on 6/14/22 were immediately greeted by a gentleman- possibly owner or manager. I didn't get his name and told him it was a first time there and couldn't decide on what to order. We wound up ordering the Republic Sampler which is easily enough for 3 or 4 people. It came with 2 chicken sandwiches perfectly seasoned and served btwn a soft, semi- sweet roll with coleslaw. In my opinion these sandwiches are a meal in itself but wait- this sampler included crispy fries, cheese bread, 2 humongous chicken tenders, 2 Korean flavored wings and 2 fried wings. It gets better- they serve this with an assortment of sauces- bbq, ranch, and my 2 favorites Cane - mildly sweet and the Cilantro which was creamy and delicious.

You pick the intensity on how spicy and hot you want your chicken and also if you want the Korean flavors or Nashville.

We left here stuffed and with leftovers for the next day.

Wow, this place has amazing food. we had the Wings, and we loved them. The vibe here is great. The music playing and the view of the mountains is worth the visit to Hot Chicken in Pomona on Indian Hill. My husband doesn't like spicy, so the Medium was perfect with hot sauce on the side for me. This is truly one of the true Mom and Pop Restaurants left. COME BY AND GIVE THEM SOME LOVE, THEY WON'T DISSAPOINT YOU

DELICIOUS AND BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Stopped here after 2 days of camping in Joshua Tree. We were craving fried chicken but didn't know where to go. This place just happened to be in front of Tierra Mia so we hoped on over and there were no regrets!

Forgot to ask if the person who helped us was the owner but regardless of that, their enthusiasm and gratitude made the experience truly memorable. Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed and for the amazing food!
