Howard Air

I contacted Howard Air for a quote on a new AC unit. My house was built in 2006 and the old one was on its last legs.
A young man came out with pictures and pricing, and he was able to answer all my questions and completely explain what I needed. He stayed I. touch with me after that first day. I always got a call before any meeting. Howard Air sent me a picture of the person who was coming to my home.
I scheduled the new install, two young men showed up to do the install.
They were respectful of my home, and very polite.
When they were done, they cleaned up after themselves.
They explained all the work they'd done and made sure I had the office number, if I had any issues.
I really hated the thought of replacing my AC.
But with Howard Air, all went well. 5 stars Carlos, Ernesto, and Tyler !

Technician Tim Peak was kind, professional and efficient. He kept me informed of the process and provided great energy and money saving tips for care of my HVAC unit.

They came out to do a second opinion on my air conditioning unit. The nicest people. My unit needs to be replaced. Unfortunately they were a little bit higher but they will hear from me again when it comes time for service. Super impressed with management and the tech that came out. And I will mention them if anyone asks if I know of a good AC company

Have been customer of Howard for 20 yrs and have always been pleased with the professional and service of their techs. Personnel in their office are likewise. Started with Howard's annual maintenance program; its worth the cost. Techs are always on time and if something goes awry with schedule, I am informed.

I am longtime customer (at least 6 years) and I am furious. According to an online this company is open 24/7 yet I cannot get anyone on the phone. Literally every technician that comes out is a complete idiot. We had a check up a few weeks ago and the technicians did not even bother to go to do a thorough check. Another visit today and both functioning units were left TURNED OFF in this 112 degree heat. This is irresponsible and now I can't reach anyone. I will start my search for a new company tomorrow.

Howard Air used to be one of best in the valley . Recently, they have lost focus . My air conditioner went out yesterday, 116 outside , we called 5 times during the day and they finally called at 5 PM to see what we wanted. We have a service contract with them ....they said they had technical difficulties...

My 26 year old unit had to be replaced immediately so I called around and read reviews and Howard Air was the best. They have the friendliest staff and technicians. Rob came and explained everything thoroughly. They have gone above and beyond thank you so much!! I will be recommending them to everyone.

I was a customer for over ten years and it was because they were honest and fair. I was wondering the last year if the ownership changed as rumor stated. Got my second service in April 2023 and the technician was just hired. They used to have all proven pros. He wanted my maintenence fee of 198.00 for each unit or 398.00. paid upfront and then said I needed to clean my innerfans and vents to get my units to last longer. He wanted 781.00 for each unit or 1562.00 to be paid up front. I said I would give m10% down till work done but stated it had to be paid in full. Almost 2,000.00 before work is done. After I found out that cleaning would NOT lengthen the life of my units I asked for a refund before the service is done. Called four seperate times and my refund is still NOT DONE! According to billing it has to be approved. two weeks later I am filing with the BBB. BEWARE do not pay for anything before work is done!!!!!!!!!!!

Howard Air installed our new HVAC unit almost 2 years ago. The system runs perfectly. The workmanship was incredible. Customer service has been awesome. We have had no issues with the new unit. They schedule the bi-annual service maintenance well in advance. I highly recommend Howard Air! They're great...from quoting the job, to install, and to top notch customer service! So happy we decided on this great company! I give them two very happy thumbs up!

Don't hire just any HVAC contractor

Trying to hire a quality HVAC company takes time. Between phone calls, meetings, research, and quotes, a lot of your valuable time is taken away.

When my 20 year old HVAC started to fail, I made exhaustive phone calls, researched reporting bureau's, contacted Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and spoke with a dozen contractors. I was so glad, after all my hard work I came across Scott, with "Howard Air"

The entire team was very professional and addressed all our concerns. They made sure every precaution was taken to keep my home clean. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed on their progress. They did a great job installing the unit.
