We recently moved into our home in the desert and needed a handyman to hang blinds and art. HHS responded quickly and sent out 2 of his workers the next day! Within an hour, the work was done not only quickly, but beautifully. These guys are definitely my go-to for all things handy in the future! Highly recommend!

Arrived on time and did a very thorough review of the problem and provided a quote on the spot.

We needed an articulating bracket for a tv mounted on a wall and I called Hughes and they were very responsive. We scheduled a date and time and they notified us when the handyman was on his way. A very nice young man Daryl showed up and did a great job. He had to work around an electrical wall plate and center the bracket as well. Turned out perfect. I would definitely call them again.

Hughes and his team were an absolute pleasure to have come to my business and fix my vintage refrigerator cabinets. A fantastic much needed fix. Hughes summed up the job in a flash during the first visit. He ordered the hard to get vintage door looks and handles and as soon as they arrived I got a text and they were installed, perfectly the next day.
I also hired Hughes to install my mailbox at my new home. On time and in short order my mailbox was perfectly set on the sidewalk.
I will be hiring Hughes whenever I need a tough job done...!

I have needed Hughes' services at least 5-6 times over the past 2 years and he is amazing every single time. Professional, knowledgeable, and really goes above and beyond. He has helped with everything from glass shower door replacement, replacing toilets parts, air filters, even the dishwasher silverware basket...the list goes on. I own a vacation rental so when a guest calls me I have to get someone out there quickly (as I really rely on good reviews) and he delivers every time. Hughes was recommended to me by my realtor in which I needed to complete a list of repairs. I am very happy that Hughes was able to complete the entire list in record time and was impressed with the quality of work. I definitely recommend Hughes Home Services to anyone.

My girlfriend and I have had Hughes work on a few things in our new house in the La Quinta Cove and everything has turned out great. He's very responsive, knows his stuff, and is actually fun to be around (which is a nice touch).

He had all of his own equipment and kept our place very clean as he moved through the projects we had for him. He also was very, very clear about us being happy with his work before finishing up so that we were 100% satisfied with everything.

Specifically, the first project he worked on were removing a lighting fixture over our dining room table, patching it up, and then running two new pennant lights in it's place. He handled all of the drywall work as well as the electrical with no issues. He's apparently done a lot of these types of jobs before, which I could tell by how easily he knocked it out for us.

The second job was mounting some lights and shelving in one of our bedrooms, which was super easy for him to take care of and would have probably taken me a few hours to do myself (with way worse results, I'm sure).

As I'm typing this I've already scheduled Hughes to come back again to help us mount a really heavy mirror in another bedroom as well as get our outdoor lighting up and running how we want it to look. It needs some serious love.

Anyway, if you're around La Quinta / Palm Desert area, I couldn't recommend Hughes enough. Just don't take up all of his time, we still have a few more projects on our list. :)

Hughes was my mother's handyman, performing numerous household services which included carpentry, electrical, computer, cable TV, plumbing, and automotive. He made it much easier for her to live independently for almost 15 years. His pricing was reasonable and I am grateful for the help he provided.

We bought a home in La Quinta and had a laundry list of items to fix (per inspection). Hughes came at the exact time he said he'd be here, then his foreman came and fixed everything efficiently and was so courteous (both of them). Highly recommend and will use again without hesitation.
