The best tacos I have had in and around Daytona beach and port orange. The place is inside a gas station which many would not venture to go in. I was prejudiced too but went and tried and was blown away by the flavor. The tacos are authentic home made with corn and haven't seen this type at all. The meat and the sauces complete the tacos. Be careful l with the spicy sauces. It's a must try place.

We just recently moved here from Texas where you can get authentic Mexican food almost everywhere. Not so much here in the Daytona Beach, FL area. I stumbled upon this place as I was driving one day and thought I would check it out ... I am really glad that I did.

There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place at all - it is in the middle of a gas station, but there is almost always a small line to wait in for their food, which was incredible. I will be visiting this place often and trying to try everything that I can on their menu at least once!

Inside a gas station with plenty of tables for seating.

For now it's closed due to the corporate Citgo folks shutting them down.

Before trying this place, I thought Wawa had my favorite gas station food, I was WRONG. I love Tacos, is the PLACE to go. Homemade tortillas that are the most delicious things I've ever tasted filled with the best meat I've ever had on a taco. It was the best combination! Well, if you forget the salsas that is! They are spicy and yet SO flavorful, which is my favorite and only type of spicy anything I'll eat. This tiny taqueria is my overall favorite ever in life, seriously! The staff is friendly and the food is made fresh and comes out piping hot, which sometimes feels impossible for restaurants! I actually implore you to go, and we should start the kickstarter to get them on Diner's, Drive Ins and Dives, immediately.

If you truly love tacos you will overlook this place is inside a gas station. The food is authentic and delicious. We tried all our favorites and were not disappointed. Chili relleno, tamales, carne asada taco. All were delicious. There are several tables to sit down and eat. The staff is friendly and accommodating however you may have a little language barrier. Prices are average. We also ordered guacamole very delicious with chips. If you want chips and salsa you have to pay for it.

      Finally some real mexican food!
Place is in a gas station setup which really sucks, but hey I guess that's Daytonas version of a taco truck.
      Works for me!
      Cheap and good.
Tried 3 different meats because it was so damn good. Definitely recommend if you want some authentic Latin food with south of the border prices.

Since I moved to the area I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant and after trying all of them around I gave up. I went into this gas station and the food smelled amazing and I gave it a try. THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN FLORIDA!!! I now eat here at least twice a week. The food is always consistent, fresh, fast, and service couldn't be any friendlier. When I tell people to try it out they always seem skeptical because it's in a gas station but really it's convenient and you can see their entire kitchen area and it is the cleanest kitchen. DEFINITELY give it a try and you will not regret it. I recommend the tamales, the burrito and the tacos. And ask for their homemade hot sauce!! IGNORE THE 1star that someone gave them for being closed. I wish that person would go try it now that they are open and doing so well and update their review.

Omg yes REAL tacos. Carne asada was great and the carnitas was astounding. Also the salsa roja will light you up. And yes, it's in the gas station. Will be back!

Went to this location thinking it was still Taqueria Juanita's. When I found out it had been replaced by I love tacos taco shop I decided to try it out. I enjoy trying all kinds of new places to eat. It being in a gas station really isn't a big deal for me if the place has good food. Which sadly it was decent. There tortillas were thick style which I enjoyed, but that was really it. There steak and barbacoa were very dry and had to pour my Red/Green sauce on to it to get it to go down nicely. Again just very dry. I also ordered 8 barbacoa tacos and an enchilada platter. They instead have me 3 steak tacos and 5 barbacoa plus the enchilada platter. Sadly all the food we got was just average and dry. If anyone wants a true authentic taco shop with great food, it'll be Taqueria Juanita's.

I use to eat here all the time a few years back. It's some of the best, most authentic Mexican food I've had. I want this place to stay around, they are so sweet and kind and their food is seriously good. And their prices are great! Don't let the gas station aspect scare you either!
