Intz48 Coffee Roasters in Azores is truly one of a kind. This cozy cafe not only serves amazing coffee and loose leaf tea, but also has a wide variety of vegan options. As a plant-based eater, I was thrilled to see so many delicious vegan options on the menu. Let's get the par-TEA started!

The owner is a gem and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is clear that everything served is made with care and intention, as all items are freshly made in house. The pizza is a must-try - it was cooked to perfection and had a nice chewy crust with just the right amount of toppings.

But what truly stood out was their coffee. The beans are properly roasted and make for a smooth and balanced cup of coffee. Along with the coffee, their loose leaf tea selection is fantastic and flavorful.

Overall, Intz48 Coffee Roasters exceeded my expectations. The vegan options were plentiful, and everything was done to perfection. If you're looking for a cafe with TEA-riffic coffee and vegan options, this is the place to visit when in Azores. Words cannot espresso how great the team at Intz48 is!

Delicious and filling sandwich with homemade bread. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. The atmosphere is a classic European eatery with plenty of outdoor seating on a sidewalk with lots of pedestrians to feed your appetite for people watching. The service was very European with lots of waiting and no checks on how you like the food or if you need anything else, but this is typical. The owners pride themselves on quality and tell you that if you are in a hurry then you should keep walking Also typical of European outdoor eating experiences where the food initially tastes like cigarettes. However I was seated between several tables of smokers, and the furthest upwind table was happy to switch places with us leaving us with fresh air and food that tasted fantastic. Excellent place to stop for a healthy and filling lunch! Tip: just walk inside to pay at the end.

If you're looking for quality, this is the place.

This is a rare gem on São Miguel. The only place that has properly grown, harvested, processed, roasted, and brewed coffee. They also have a killer water-processed decaf! That's hard to find anywhere in the world, let alone the Azores. The brewed coffee is the best on the island, and you can also buy whole or pre-ground beans from them to bring home. They are master roasters, leaning slightly toward the medium side, not too light and acidic like a lot of 3rd wave roasters. Just perfect. I was anxious about the coffee before coming to the Azores, as I had heard bad things (like many other places in Europe), so I was overjoyed to find Intz48 when I arrived. I don't drink coffee anywhere but here. They also have an unparalleled tea selection (including unique herbal blends that can't be found anywhere else).

I've been coming here for several months now and I continue to be surprised by the amazing culinary delights. They make everything in house. The bread and pizza crust are incredible. The pastries (including the only from-scratch croissants on the island) are dangerously delicious. The banana bread is a must try.

My favorite breakfast/lunch meal is the roasted vegetable omelette with goat cheese. It comes with their house-made bread, a beautiful salad garnished with fresh herbs and seeds (and always remember to ask for whatever special spicy sauce they've created that day ;-)

If you're here on the island for a while, definitely get to know the owners. Louise and Daniel are hardworking wonderful people who have created a unique/unequaled and much needed establishment in downtown PDL. They are fun to talk to, especially about crypto! I'm so glad they decided to make São Miguel their home. We are lucky!

Best breakfast in town! Excellent coffee, owner is friendly and fun. Highly recommend!

Walked in here randomly and it turned out to be one of our most relaxing afternoons here in Azores.
Owner talked to all the guests, explaining that everything is made from scratch. Daniel,the owner, loves chemistry, formulated his own way of making gelato. He explained which pastry we would like and what is inside the pastry that we chose, Mousse de Queito com frutos Vermelhos. It was so creamy and just the right amount of tart.
They have a good selection of gourmet organic tea. I had the From Paris With Love and my boyfriend had the Blackberry Tango. Both were so good that they didnt need sugar.
If you want a nice relaxing afternoon in Ponta Delgada, this is the place to be.

Brewed to perfection! I really enjoyed my
flat white and the warm banana bread with espresso cream cheese. The owner was very friendly! Coffee and food was all fresh and flavorful each time we visited. *they had posted on social media that the shop would be open on weekends, but then they closed to be home with their kids. I'm happy they put family first, but would have like if they posted that notice on social media.

Best coffee and breakfast on the island! Great service and friendly staff. The ham and cheese Omlet was one of the best I've had anywhere. Got a double cappuccino and it was awesome. Wish we had found this place on our first day, but we will be coming back every morning for the remainder of our stay here.

I made a "wrong" turn and stumbled onto this gem! They roast the coffee beans in the back of the shop. They offer pour over/hand brew coffee. Delicious! As are the pastries. The owner really cares ...

I love this place! I was looking for a good coffee shop in Ponta Delgada -- somewhere I could get coffee, food, and work for a few hours on my laptop (they have free wifi). This place was so good I came back every single day I was on Sao Miguel. They make great homemade soups, the toasted banana bread is to die for, and I loved every coffee beverage I had there. Plus very friendly owners and employees! So glad I found Intz48.

Love the fresh roasted coffee, ample of tea selection and delicious pastries. Friendly staff and lovely street side cafe.
