Ironwood Bar & Grill

We stopped in for a late bite to eat, and ordered a couple of drinks and the chips and cheese deluxe which we shared between the two of us. Our food was good and the waitress was friendly and courteous

We visited Ironwood over the weekend for my sister's surprise birthday party. I hadn't been here since it was a different (divey) bar, probably 12 years ago. There was a large group for the party, probably 40 people, and we had such a great experience!
The party started around 5:30 on a Saturday night, but I know there was some set up done beforehand. There were 2 servers for the group, and they were very quick, attentive, and pleasant. They stayed on top of drinks the whole time, and were very good at remembering what everyone had. It was nice that the part area we had was recessed from the rest of the bar so it was really quite separated without being a closed off room.

There was a taco bar for the party as well. For being a buffet style taco bar it was really good! The meat wasn't greasy at all, but also wasn't dried out. There were different salsas and sauces available, and a good number of toppings. They provided soft shells for the wraps, and tortilla chips as well. Overall it was super tasty and a clear crowd pleaser. The staff also did a great job refilling it as the party moved through.

I can't speak to a normal dining experience here, but if you need a space to accommodate a pretty large group of people they do a great job! It was perfect for the party and I think everyone was happy with the experience.

It's been years since I was here and I had heard rave reviews of the food. I was with a large group of about 20 people that had a reservation since about two weeks ago. Arrived at 4:30 and was asked for a food order at 6:00. Our server was hustling, but they knew we were coming for two weeks. About half (maybe more) of our party opted to leave rather than order food. It probably speaks to the issue that too many restaurants face with staffing. Just can't hire enough people. I arrived with great hopes and left sad and hungry. I will add that when I said I'd like to cash out for my beer, I was cashed out in two minutes. Couldn't order food, though.

First time visiting the IBG. Came for dinner with my grandparents. It has a sports bar atmosphere and is a little noisy. Food was good. My chicken was good and juicy. We also tried some apps. My husband really liked the onion rings. The jalapeño poppers we very good and not too spicy. Our server Malena was very friendly. Overall had a very nice experience.

Can I just say how AMAZING this place is? My goodness - you want to talk about a bang for your buck! If you're looking for a TRUE bar & grill, with good drinks, open atmosphere, excellent service, and food that delivers BEYOND expectation, this is the place for you. I am not going to even post photos of the food, because in my opinion, it absolutely delivered and should leave the guest pleasantly surprised. The staff is great! I never waited on a drink or on my food. I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. I ordered food to-go last night - the fajita roll-up. It was delicious! Today for lunch (I should mention I'm at an AirBnB), I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and my friend ordered the bang bang wrap (to-go)...MORE than hit the spot. For dinner tonight, I decided to dine at the bar. I ordered a few beers - special shout out to AMANDA, who was the bartender and was ALWAYS on point. My food, which I ordered to-go again, and haven't yet dived into (but I know is going to make my night), was brought out in less than 10 minutes. I have gone here during the early weekdays (Monday and Tuesday), so I can't critique the place for the weekend. But my oh my, what a great place to go if you are looking for great eats, great environment, great staff, and just an overall satisfying experience. If I'm ever in this area again, I will for sure be coming back! Thank you to Amanda, the rest of the staff, and to the management for making a bar & grill what it is meant to be. If I could leave 10 stars, I most definitely would!

I ordered chicken wings, sauce was great but the size of the wings was comical. How can you even call these wings?!?

Stopped in on a whim hoping for something good. Turns out it was Great!
When a bartender can remember what you drink and your favorite choice of appetizers on your second visit, you have found a definite keeper!

I like this place! Good food and drink for a fair price. Clean and bright, lively and good service. I like their chicken verde burrito and my wife likes their taco salad. Don't be put off by their full parking lot, even when the lot is full, there is usually always room inside

I'm a hockey mom and this is a bar with good food close to our home rink. I'm sold right there. I've had burgers, and sandwiches, and salads and have always been content. Sometimes the lettuce or accompanying veggies on the salads can be a bit suspect (like the dried out and bitter cucumbers on my chef salad last night), but overall, a good excuse to drop the boy off and leave the rink for an hour.

Way better than the average bar fare, Ironwood really delivers a quality meal at an amazing price. The interior is a little unmemorable but are you there to look or to eat? Wide menu and so reasonable! We ordered the chips and queso (all made in house), Hubs got the mushroom and swiss burger (add a patty to make it a double) and I got the Dagwood special: 2 chili cheese dogs, fries and cole slaw. It was all excellent!
They have some pretty sweet weekly specials too, Mondays kids eat free with paying adults (limit 2), Sundays the Dagwood special drops to only $3.50 AND comes with a beer (a cheaper one but still)! WOW!
