They're keeping it seriously old school in Leather Goods on South Anne Street. This out of the way leather repair shop makes an art out of caring for bags, shoes and everything you love that's fine leather.
Those beautiful pebbled flats suddenly squeezing? Leather Goods can stretch 'em. That fabulous suede folio sporting a deep scratch? Leather Goods can sympathise (and advise). Need a new briefcase, good polish or some keys cut (is every shop in town going to do this eventually?)... you know the place.
The shop feels like a 80s throwback with its bar lighting and formica front desk, but I'm delighted to find a place that cares about my BillyBag's well being as much as I do.

The goods are fine but the shopkeeper isn't friendly. As if you are asking him for money and not you are paying him. I didn't enjoy the experience.

I was in a rush one Saturday, popped some boots on, and ran out the door without realising the heels were down to nothing :(

The noise from the metal scraping the ground was driving me crazy, so I dropped in to the Italian Heel Bar to see if they could heel them for me.
The lovely man said no problem, so I hopped up on a stool and played with my phone (while sitting in my socks :) ) for 5 minutes while he did a wonderful job.

Next time I have a heel emergency, I'll be back :)

This is a great place to get your shoes reheeled and/or resoled - the guy who runs the place is a great cobbler, whose work in bringing old shoes back to life is second to none.

I'll keep coming back and I highly recommend him.

Went there to get leather tennis shoes restored and polished - Yelp had recommended them for this purpose. When I got there the man was dismissive and arrogant, as if asking him to polish shoes was some kind of insult to his prestige.

Great in a shoe emergency. Pop in, sit on a stool, and 5 minutes later, your pavement-scratching heels are back to normal. Reasonable price, and what I also like is that they don't cheat you by fixing shoes that aren't fixable. Eg, the man pointed out that my Penney's pumps were basically cardboard so couldn't be resoled. They also fix leather bags and zips; although I haven't checked that out yet, it's good to know.

Excellent repair! Lovely store and lovely man. Put rubber tips and new heels on my boots for just €25. Same day service available. Highly recommend.
