Gluten-free is their specialty, and in fact the basis of their entire cafe/bakery. A terrific variety of gf goodies both sweet and savory. Ordered a number of sandwiches for an event where several people have Celiac, and the owner was very accommodating in helping select a mix of options.
Sandwiches, salads, cupcakes, cookies and more await you at this blessed bakery where you don't have to worry if they actually know how to prepare safe, gluten-free meals.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jul 26, 2022Updated review
Love their new location!!! Clean, spacious, and complete with a wonderful display of cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and so on. They also have breakfast sandwiches and coffee which are bomb! I'm so happy there is seating now.
Also, I recently ordered a custom birthday cake and it came out wonderful! Very moist and flavorful, it was exactly what I asked for. I recommend it for anyone looking to order for a special occasion.
I love supporting this local GF bakery, as there are not many around!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Sara, thank you. We think our GF apple cider donuts are to die for.
Oct 2, 2021Previous reviewI'm so happy I came across this place. It's hard to find places that even cater to gluten free diets or have GF treats. The inside is pretty small, but they have pastries on display and they all look delicious. The donuts are so good!!! Some of the best GF ones I've ever had. This place is worth the 25 min drive for me.

Cute shop, delicious breakfast items. Desserts are a little pricey but I get it, and they were excellent so I'd say they're worth it. Friendly service and good coffee.

I ordered a Sonic birthday cake for my son's 6th birthday party from here. I want to preface this by saying that my family as well as my in-laws have been loyal customers of this bakery for a few years, as we all have varying degrees of gluten sensitivity.
I have to say I was a bit surprised by the size of the cake. I paid, I believe around $75 for the cake, and was expecting it to be of similar size to the Minecraft cake I had ordered for his 5th birthday party last year. When I informed the associate at the store that I would be expecting 20 kids and about 30 adults, she informed me that a 1/4 sheet cake would be more than enough for this size party. That being said, we had just enough to feed all the adults and kids, with maybe 1-2 slices left over (please note that the slices were cut extremely small.
I have attached photos of the 2 cakes. As you can see, the Minecraft cake (attachment one) is a two tiered cake and I remember being so happy that 1. The cake was gluten free and 2. We had so much left over, we could enjoy it for days to come. The second photo attached is of the Sonic cake, which was significantly smaller in size and was about the same price.
I did not want this to be the focus of the day, but to be honest, at the price we paid I was expecting more for my money. I am not sure where the miscommunication happened- I do understand that the prices of all goods have gone up recently, and you have to account for that when making a cake. However, I would have gladly paid a bit more to ensure everyone could enjoy this dessert, rather than trying to figure out how to serve all of the adults and children with a cake this size.
When I called the bakery to inform them I was disappointed with my order, I was told "well that's what you ordered. What do you want us to do about it?" In a very brash tone. I did not expect financial restitution, but as a small business your establishment needs to learn how to speak to their customers as most recommendations for the gluten free community are by word of mouth.
That being said, I will unfortunately have to look at other options when ordering gluten free items for my family. It's a shame as I was initially impressed with this bakery but the service and value for the money has gone downhill.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2Business owner information

Sara, I'm the person you spoke with on the phone, as well as the owner. The pictures you are showing is two different cakes completely as I explained on the phone. The Minecraft cake was a 12" double layer cake which if you look at how many people that will feed is between 18-26 people. Depending on how you cut the slices. The Sonic cake was a 1/4 sheet cake which you ordered and that serves between 16-20, 1.5" X1.5" slices which is recommended in sheet cakes. You suggested you didn't have enough cake and expected the caked to be bigger. A 1/4 sheet cake base price for a gluten free cake is $65, for a 1/2 sheet it's $95, so for an additional $30 you would have gotten twice the cake. When we speak to customers on the phone we are very concerned about the amount of people a cake feeds. When you ordered the cake, I'm sure we mentioned that to you. Sorry things did not work out for you as planned. We also suggested to you that we would compensate your for your trouble and you declined. Thank you

This shop gets a shoutout for its pour-over coffee. In this world of vacuum-pot dreck, shops like this deserve to thrive. I'm not a regular consumer of gluten-free items, but the pastry case looks wonderfully prepared. The shop is clean and comfortable.

Exceptional cafe. My wife and I were in North Andover for an appointment and noticed this place in passing.
We made the trip back today (a Wednesday) and love it. Food quality and taste is fantastic. My wife chose the green eggs and ham on an everything bagel. I chose their classic egg and cheese and sausage (you can have with bacon or ham if you prefer) in an everything bagel.
Delicious!
We also ordered a salted caramel cupcake to share. It was perfect.
They have a freezer with gluten free pasta and their bagels. In case you want some to take home.
Neither my wife or I have issues with gluten but likes this cafe enough that it is now on our list of regular places to visit.
Check it out.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Will S.North Andover, MA122259Jan 20, 2023
Why 1 star you ask?
Welp I'll tell you. It's was about 8:30 in the morning and I was walking out of CVS. I decided I might want a breakfast sandwich and wanted to see if this place had any. Upon entering I saw an employee sitting at a table on their phone. I saw another employee with there back to me at a fancy coffee machine. The place was deserted. After a minute the person at the counter without looking at me said they would be with me. I waited...and waited...then read the menu for the 4th time. Still nada. I was hungry and wasn't sure Gluten Free Bagels were a good idea . Unfortunately I was given waaay to much time to overthink it and I was starving. I ended up walking out the door and going to the McDonald's drive thru as I didn't have all day. So....I won't be going back to be ignored.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Will, sorry to hear that you were not recognized when you arrived at our location. This is not typical as I'm usually the person who is greeting people as they arrive. I will have a discussion with the staff to be sure that does not happen in the future. Hope to see you again someday! Thank you

Popped in here to buy a birthday cake. Almost choked at the cost ($50 for a 6" cake!) but got home and discovered it was one of the BEST cakes I've ever had. Would never in a million years have guessed it was gluten free. SO worth it!

Always solid food and service. Food is so good that people who aren't gluten free eat here too. Lovely presentation. Options are always changing. You can order ahead items like chicken pot pie and lasagna-so good
