Jersey Physical Therapy was founded in 2002 in Kendall Park by South Brunswick natives Marc Rubenstein and Geoffrey Hunt. Their desire was to provide members of South Brunswick and surrounding communities with a local physical therapy clinic where everyone was treated like a family member. Due to their local roots, involvement in the community and increasing referral base, Jersey Physical Therapy needed to expand their practice and space. Sean Moore joined the practice as a partner in 2006 and a new office was opened in the Milltown/East Brunswick area. In 2013, Jersey PT opened its third location in Plainsboro. This office is conveniently located in Plainsboro Village Center. All three practices deliver the highest quality in physical therapy services with a focus on evidence-based practice, one-on-one manual therapy and excellent results/outcomes.

My husband went for treatment and they continue led to let him attend 46 sessions WITHOUT first clearing with our insurance. They came after us for thousands of $$$. They threatened to send me to collections so I just paid the money. What kind of place renders service, doesn't get paid, and threatens a customer? If they are not getting paid, they should never have let him through the door. Period. Do not go here. Very disorganized billing and you could get stuck with a huge bill.

Sean M is the absolute best. I've been to the chain PT places and nothing beats Jersey PT. Sean is super knowledgeable and seasoned. He knows his stuff. Unfortunately I'm back to PT for a knee issue but know I'm in good hands! I love that they don't overbook as well. You are in and out quickly.

First I want to say that the people are nice and friendly however, this seems to be a bare bones place. I tried this place due to the good reviews they got however, none of the previous reviews mentioned that they do not offer (at least not for me) ice after you are done with your workout, heat to loosen up your muscles, stim to help with the discomfort/pain, taping (I was told that only one of the PT know how to do this and he/she didn't work at the EB office) or any other services. Basically they massage your affected area for about 10 minutes and then you start your workout program and once your done, you leave.

I highly recommend this location of Jersey Physical Therapy! I've had to go through physical therapy 4 times in my life, and this was my best experience by far. Laura (the PT) and Nick (the assistant) are a great team, try to get Laura. They are personable and good people, but more importantly they are excellent at what they do and they care about their patients. I came here for neck pain and poor posture and I left after 6 weeks with no pain and feeling great.
The facility is well-equipped and the whole operation, from Emily and Melissa the receptionists, to the therapists and assistants, runs very smoothly. Every staff member knows their part very well. This is a popular place and they get pretty busy, but they are organized and they handle it with ease. They also have great hours, their latest appointments are at 8PM every (week)day, so it's easy to work around your schedule, but book in advance because a week or two out they are pretty full. Make an appointment and start getting better!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Seham A.Milltown, NJ01Jun 12, 2017
I used this office twice this year and would certainly go back for any future needs. I had a hip problem and was unable to put any weight on my left leg. After two sessions with Sean, I felt better. With more therapy and excercise, in a three weeks time my hip was stronger and had the situation totally under control. Then I had a problem with my right shoulder. I couldn't move my right arm backward without much pain. Again therapy with Sean helped me gain strength in my right shoulder and now I am able to move my right arm backward, and reach upward without pain. In the past, I have used other physical therapy office that was not very effective. It was total waste of time and energy. I highly recommend this office, the treatment is always effective and the staff is accommodating and caring.

I've used Jersey Physical Therapy to get healthy twice already and plan to use them again soon! My first experience was five years ago when my orthopedist suggested PT to help strengthen the muscles surrounding my right knee, which was diagnosed with a meniscus tear along with arthritis, as a first line of defense before any surgery. I had a great experience with Sean Moore and the staff. Two years later, I went for arthroscopic right knee surgery to repair the meniscus tear and scrape the bone to help with the spurs. At that time, I chose a different group, deciding to go with Kessler Rehabilitation, also located in East Brunswick, basically because they offered aqua therapy, using the pool in the New York Sports Club where they are located. I enjoyed that, even though the pool also shared space with children's swim lessons, which got a little crazy at times. I don't want to speak for all the therapists there, because some looked like they were good, but the therapist assigned to me was young, just graduated from school, and looked more interested in checking out what was happening all around her, than working with ME. Not a good experience. Time has passed and now BOTH knees are bad, with severe arthritis. I did the cortisone injections for years, graduating to the OrthoVisc injections for another couple of years, until they no longer worked for me. Diagnosis: I need both knees replaced. I did the left knee this past December, 2014. When it came time for PT, I went right back to JERSEY PHYSICAL THERAPY, calling to make sure that Sean was still there. I've done 8 weeks of PT, using all three of their PT staff - Laura, Mike and Sean. They are all wonderful! They listen to you, adjust their treatment to whatever is hurting/bothering you, and suggest exercises to help you move forward. ALL of the staff there are friendly and more important, very knowledgeable. It is an absolute pleasure to go there! I am getting ready to have the right knee done towards the end of April and you can bet that I will be going back to Jersey Physical Therapy because they are the best! I highly recommend them.
