Charged more to fix my dryer than the price of a new one. He did NOT share that BEFORE doing the work. It would not have been done if he had. (Which is prob why he didn't.)
Also charged for a "two-man job" because the dryer was stacked on the other but once it was moved, the helper simply watched. The invoice doesn't reflect that. How can I get that job?!
I checked with other repair companies and Jim's initial service call charge ($119) is almost double the going rate.
I called repeatedly to see if I could talk to Jim, but NEVER received a call back. Which is why you get to read this.

The worst. Long wait to schedule, rude customer service, way overpriced, and they don't arrive on time. I had to call the manufacturer to give the repairman advice on how to fix the problem. Wish I could give zero stars.

The worst customer service! If I could give a zero I would. NEVER use this repair service. The repair man was fine but WAY overcharged more than they said over the phone. The person who answers the phone is SO disrespectful and rude, she wouldn't even let me finish a sentence when I tried to order a part and then hung up on me.

I called them based on an internet ad that said they serviced Avanti appliances. They confimred that they did service Avanti dryers, so I scheduled an appointment, but being the holiday period, it was going to take one week for them to arrive. They called back the day beofre they were scheduled to be there, and said they "just discovered" that they didn't service Avanti dryers. Big waste of my time...

We have a Meile dishwasher that was not operating properly, we had called other Meile certified service companies, but never had good results after they came to "repair" the dishwasher. I read some reviews and decided to call Jim's. The person on the phone was very personable and told me about the service fee and how they book appointments, which was very honest and up front. As the person said, the technician called me the night before our scheduled appointment date to let me know the two hour time period he'd be at my home. Bill, our service technician, arrived within the time period and was very professional and knowledgeable. He pin pointed the problem that had never been resolved from 2 years ago, by another Meile certified technician (not from Jim's). Bill's knowledge and expertise in fixing appliances saved us from having our dishwasher cause another flood in our home. Jim's Appliance Repair Service has a permanent place in our home Rolodex if we need any other appliance repairs. And Bill, our service technician, ROCKS!!
