I wanted a particular LiftMaster door opener (Model WLED with brighter lighting) and it was nowhere to be found in stock. John went above and beyond and located one, picked it up, and came over two days later after he fixed our broken garage door spring. He also tuned our garage door and the new opener and we could not be happier. Matter of fact, the garage door and the new opener are so quiet that I shake my head and ask my inner self "how did John do that?"
With all the craziness in the world we all see today, dealing with John in-person gave me faith in humanity! Solid small businessman, on time and responsive, extremely nice and easy to deal with, fair prices. I highly recommend him.
Thanks again John.......you are a true "garage door/opener whisperer".

He really got us out of a bind when I backed our truck into the bottom of our garage door. I'm not sure how he fixed it, it looked totally wrecked. But somehow he got it working perfectly again. Would recommend 100%

We called to replace our existing garage door opener that was having circuit board issues. Johns prices beat the other three places we checked. Excellent communication throughout. Very knowledgeable and even fixed a couple of other items affecting the smooth operation of the garage door. Completed on time and added an inside door lock para gratis.
This is what 5 stars should be like.

It's always nice to hear a customer let other future customers know that here John's garage doors we do have very competitive pricing we might not be the lowest price but if somebody is coming in under us it's typically because they are a non licensed business. We're in business to make money definitely but at the same time we want to give the customer fair pricing and quality service. I can't review john's actual work because, frankly, he never made it. I chose this business to replace my garage door opener based on his pricing and positive Yelp reviews. Scheduled an appointment for 10am on Friday morning. 10am passed and received a call around 1030 saying he had hurt his thumb the day before and could we reschedule to 10am Sunday. I agreed and he guaranteed he would be there. Again he was a no-show on Sunday and finally responded later with a text saying he was "stuck in Sacramento with a flat." That was the last I heard from him.

He worked on our garage door ASAP and I am happy with his work especially he went out his way just to make sure our garage is working properly. I would hire him again for garage door needs.

It's our goal here John's garage doors to provide quality garage door service and affordable price. We also like to advertise that you will always get a live person when you call. We try to do the best we can with this. Sometimes we're on the other line. Sometimes we're on a ladder with a driver in one hand and a wrench in the other but the majority of the time we try and answer our phone and we give hard numbers and we give solid show up times. Once again, I just want to say thank you for your business and the review and all we can ask here at John's garage doors is that you let your friends and family know that John's garage doors is the place for all their garage door needs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
After seeing all of the positive reviews on Yelp, my family decided to hire this company to install a brand new garage door. 2 months later and this is what we have....A door coming off of the track and no longer operational.
This company states that they are open 24 hours a day however we have received no response to our multiple phone calls, messages via Yelp or messages sent via Google.

We hired John to install a new garage door motor after our 16 year old unit suffered a failed circuit board. He was very responsive even in the late afternoon hours (5:30 PM). He's super easy to work with, with highly competitive pricing compared to other installers around the area.
We are pleased with the Liftmaster unit that John installed. Installation came complete with a new switch, sensors, and chain rail, along with a built-in battery backup and MyQ integration.
We highly recommend John, and will not hesitate to use his services with future needs.
