I've never experienced an auto repair shop where the people are so courteous, so prompt and so fair.

I brought my vehicle in earlier this year for a leak repair, which they fixed and asked me to bring it back in - at no cost - a few weeks later so they could double-check the work. It's been longer than a few weeks, but I brought the vehicle back this morning so they could do that check and for them to give me a thumbs up before taking the vehicle on a long road trip - a once-over I fully expected to pay for. Not only did they check the leak, they gave me a report on the vehicle with recommendations (none of them pressing) as well as the "okay" I was looking for before traveling. It's rare to have a "feel-good" experience at an auto repair shop. But at K&W, you will.

I'm new in town and needed an auto repair on my fuel tank latch. I called around a ton of shops and so happy I landed on K&W. Speedy service. Fair pricing. Great people. Highly recommend giving them a call for your next repair. Thanks Carlos!! New lifetime customer.

I went to another auto repair store in CP and they quoted me a ton of money for a new part. K&W gave me a second opinion that I didn't need the part at all, and saved me almost $1,000. They were soooo kind and treated me so nicely!!! I hope everyone gives them business, they deserve it all!!! Honest, reliable C great customer service. I will be back!

Awesome trustworthy mechanics. They are frequently busy but once you are in, the turn around time is quick and they give straightforward advice.

I live in the Wheaton area now, and my husband made an appointment for me to take my 2012 Camry in to Carlos in Hyattsville -- based on my daughter's recommendation. (He takes care of her car.)

Though I was going to be late for my appointment, I called and Carlos cordially told me to come in. So he is a gracious business owner. I was so relieved he could still fit me in.

I had had new tires put on recently, so I knew I needed an alignment. The shop took care of the that first.

I also felt something was different with my brakes, so I had him look at those, too. While a shop much closer to me told me I needed new rotors for my brakes (very expensive), Carlos told me that wasn't so. He explained the pads were just a bit worn and I should check them going forward at every oil change. So he IS HONEST and trustworthy!

And finally, because my battery had died, we suspected I needed a new one. (This was confirmed and installed by his hard-working technicians.)

The charge was $375 for everything. My daughter told me she thought that was on the expensive side, but I am just glad to have my car back as I have a small business where I need to travel daily.

Car repairs and upkeep ain't cheap, but I would recommend this trustworthy shop to anyone!

Just wanted to review this business again, as my first review was just for their customer service. Since I first brought my car for advice on an engine issue several years ago, I've been coming here for oil changes with my new car. Carlos and team are awesome. I can attest their service is as excellent as how they treat their customers.

I had neglected maintenance for years on my 2015 Toyota Corolla and told the friendly person on the phone that. But he didn't take advantage at all. Changed the oil, determined the check engine light was for the oil change, and inflated the tires. all reasonably priced. And he had the car ready in the time estimated. I happily waited at Vigilante Coffee.

If I could give Carlos and his team more than 5 stars - I would! Carlos and his team at K&W are awesome - he's fair, gives great advice, always tries to save you money, and has quick turnaround. He's also great at keeping in touch during the whole process. We've taken all of our cars to him for about 8 years now, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Cannot say enough amazing things about this place! Carlos was so friendly and helpful. They explain everything clearly and their prices are the best I have found around DC! Other auto shops were so much more expensive for the things I needed done and not as transparent. Will definitely be making this my new shop around the DMV.
