We were greeted right away when we arrived for our pedicure appointments. They took us immediately to stations and began working on my spouse's feet; however, I waited about 10 minutes before they started on my pedicure. The interior needs some sprucing up as many chairs are peeling especially the ones used by the staff. The pedicure chairs are uncomfortable for small/short people. Offering pillows would be a big bonus. My feet barely reached the foot rest but the young lady doing my pedicure kept pulling me in that direction until I was slouched in the seat. Also, she was distracted and apparently in a spat of some sort with another employee. The only time she spoke (in broken English) was to ask me to position my feet. The pedicure was very basic and performed with indifference. She did not do a good job on calluses and mine are very minor. On the bright side, the nail polish was applied very well. Not what we signed up for. We will continue our search for a place to get our feet pampered.

What a bunch of crooks, DON'T ever buy a gift certificate because it will expire.
I've been at this nail salon several times, bought a gift certificate for my boyfriend, thought he could use a pedi, he never got around to using it so I came in today to use and they WOULD NOT ACCEPT.
Apparently the owner kept telling me, "those aren't the rules." Ok, I understand if it's been over a year or years since it expired.... But it's only been a month past the expiration.

And since when do gift certificates expire?

Regardless, this expired last month, purchased on 12/17/21, expired 7/17/21 and tried to use today after shellac pedi and they wouldn't accept!!!

Like I said, bunch of crooks, I've been a customer here multiple times and it's ridiculous they couldn't do anything to give any kind of credit for the $32 gift certificate I tried to use on my $52 shellac pedicure.

Btw overpriced in my mind and not worth it.

Please save yourself and GO ELSEWHERE!!!

I have been here a few times since moving to Charlottesville and I have always had a positive experience! Friendly staff, clean, efficient. I usually walk in with no wait. I get a dip manicure and always like how my nails turn out. I have to keep them short for work and they do a great job shaping them the way I like. I came in for a pedicure with a friend too. It was really nice and reasonably priced, even with a couple of add ons. I would absolutely recommend this place!

I went to this nail salon 4 weeks ago in summer did an awesome job the powder dip that I had done last it for 4 weeks I went in there last Friday and have the powder dip changed the next day it started to peel I went back she fixed it and then she put another coat of gel over the other fingers make sure they don't peel I also had a pedicure as well. I spend well over $100 in two days $59 for the pedicure which was not that great I now after 4 days all my fingernails are chipping the powder dip is supposed to last at least 14 days I do not think that I will go back I just feel like it bothered her that she had to fix my one now

LOVE all the ladies that work in the salon. They all are so kind + easy to have a conversation with. 10/10

TLDR: I had a reservation for a pedicure at 11, but my pedi didn't start until 11:35; they put acetone over the entire top of my foot rather than wrapping each toenail individually; and some staff and customers didn't keep their masks on.

Try somewhere else in Cville! I made a reservation for me and three family members to get manis and pedis at 11am. When we came in, they said we had to wait to be seated in the pedicure chairs because they already had people there and couldn't set us right next to them for safety reasons. True, I do want to be distanced for Covid precautions. But then when they finally did seat us, they sat somebody we didn't know right next to us! We waited in the chairs about 10 minutes before they started on my stepmom's pedicure, which was fine, but then it was another 15 minutes before they started on mine. So my pedicure that was supposed to start at 11 started at 11:35. To remove the gel polish that was on my toes, the nail tech squirted acetone all over the tips of my toes and then wrapped the aluminum foil around the top half of my foot. So rather than each toenail being wrapped, The top half of my foot was just sitting in acetone. Not awesome. As I was waiting for someone to start the actual pedicure, I noticed a nail tech wrap up with their customer and look like they were beginning to get ready to come to me. For the couple of minutes I was watching them, their face mask was down the whole time. When they came to me, I asked if they could please pull their face mask up while they were working on me. They did, but it kept falling down. I tried to say very politely that I wasn't comfortable with their face mask being down and could they please keep it up. And then I just decided to end the appointment for myself. My stepmom was going to be done before me, and I was noticing that there were several other customers whose face masks weren't on, it just didn't feel safe and already wasn't a good experience. I didn't really want a place that would let my feet soak in acetone to give me a pedicure.

Bottom line, go somewhere else for a relaxing experience.
