Q:
Is it open for dine in now?
A:
Yes! They just opened for dine-in and have also hired additional staff :)
Nathan L.Â3 years agoQ:
Are they opening soon? I hope everyone is ok, great people, they have been closed for a little bit.
A:
They had to close down for a while because of COVID, unfortunately. However, they're in good health and are back up and running again—and as excellent as ever! I definitely try to tip more generously now to help them during this reopening period… more

I'll get straight to the point. FRESH, AUTHENTIC Korean cuisine. Located in Peabody next to the 7/11 on Lynn st , K restaurant really is a must try. Yes , some have said it's a little pricey BUT it worth every penny. Cozy interior, order at counter style so you pick where you want to sit and they have on site parking which is a plus in MY book. Check out my pictures of what I had , amazing food, GO TRY.

Oh my, used to be one of the best around but boy has this place slipped and fell. Maybe new owner? Overloaded with sugar now, no ban chan, kimchi is about 4 weeks past expiration, meat is way way too sweet and old and stale and overcooked. This was one of the worst lowest effort places we've eaten in months. Boy oh boy, would avoid with a passion.

Not a big place, few tables but the food is good and service is decent. If you want to use restroom, you have to go around the back building and it's at the back of their kitchen. Can't go thru their kitchen

This is a cute little restaurant in Peabody I like to visit. The staff are always pleasant and the food is always amazing. Prices are about normal for Korean take out. But definitely worth every dollar. The best dish is the tteokbokki in that spicy sauce. I always end up ordering extra because it goes so fast at my house.

We did dine in on a weekday night and the food was good. They were busy with mostly take out orders and a few dine-ins. You order the food at the counter and they'll bring the food to the table. They have self service hot tea and water.
We got the Korean vegetable pancake, chicken fried rice and bibimbap with beef bulgogi. The vegetable pancake was ok, it had more batter so it was more fluffy than crispy. The bibimbap was good. The sauce bottle is at the table so you can add as much as you would like. The fried rice was simple, but still good. They also give complimentary miso soup, however no other side dishes like most Korean restaurants.
I would recommend it to anyone in the area and don't want to go far for good Korean food. The restaurant recently went under new management in the last year.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Julianna ..San Francisco, CA02Feb 28, 2024
Food was amazing. Service was quick and helpful. Ambiance was calming. I got the fried chicken and shrimp fried rice and glass noodles and everything was so delicious

Very lovely restaurant with friendly staff. My boyfriend accidentally spilled water & staff was so quick to clean it up! It was a rainy day so the tofu soup was BEAUTIFUL. Perfect amount of spicy. Very fulfilling !! Kind of reminds me of a home cooked meal. Would come back again.

I grew up in Alaska where there are several great Korean restaurants, so I am rather picky when it comes to Korean food. Unfortunately the North Shore is a desert when it comes to Korean food, and K Restaurant is the only option that I know of. Both times I've been here have been underwhelming.
This is not a typical sit-down restaurant, so the menu is rather limited. You have to order at a counter and a server will bring the food to your table. Unfortunately you don't get any banchan, which in my opinion is one of the best parts of dining at a Korean restaurant.
The food is palatable but not especially enjoyable. The best thing I've had here was the spicy rice cakes. The portion size of the spicy pork bibimbap was good but the meat quality was subpar.
I think I'll venture into Boston the next time I want Korean food. If you're new to Korean food and want to try it then this is a decent place, but otherwise it's not great.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Roberta D.Peabody, MA022May 30, 2023
