Kamikaze Kitchen

I've been eating this genius food of this Asian and New Mexican fusion local to its environment since I found the starter truck catering at the state fair in 2018. the food has been amazingly consistent and new items and limited items have yet to disappoint. the taquesos (smoked chicken tacos) and bacon jam mac n cheese eggrolls have remained my favorites on the menu. the in house made green chile ranch is one of a kind must have. the owner is great. the truck has found itself a beautiful little restaurant home base now as well. kick ass all around.

3 Stars = Okay! Nothing bad. The nachos are my favorite. The wontons were pretty good. They really advertise their motherklucker and I honestly think it's just okay; nothing "incredible". It's a good chicken sandwich.
Overall, be sure to check this place out if you're in the area. Parking is limited. They have a upstairs as well as a downstairs.

This place was very delicious and creative! The food was unique and tasty, service was friendly and helpful.

The mother klucker was a very tasty fried chicken sandwich. It was pretty big and filling as well!

I also got the mini egg roll arito. It was sweet tasting. The filling inside complimented each other perfectly to make a very good egg roll.

The only downside is the food did take a little bit to make but I can tell they put in the effort to make every meal super delicious.

I would definitely come here again!

The food truck movement has led to some staples in Albuquerque becoming brick and mortar locations. Kamikaze, the Asian-New Mexican fusion, brings their food truck flavors to a restaurant and they didn't lose a step in the food.

When we walked in the place was quite busy! And for some strange reason one of the large garage doors was open and it was pretty cold outside

But I digress, the food, we ordered some green chili chicken enchilada egg rolls, and I was pretty damn surprised! Lots of flavor and different things hitting the palate! My wife had a specialty drink made with peeps and vodka which she said was like cotton candy.

It took a bit for the undermanned location to get our food, but we tried the drunken pigs and the mother clucker! My wife had her three little pigs with truffle fries and I had the burqueno fries.

The drunken pigs were good, the pork seemed a bit dry but still tasty. The truffle fries were good! I expected a little more from
The mother clucker. The chicken was a bit bland and seemed to be hiding in the sauces and slaw. It was ok but not anything to write home about. The burqueno fries were your basic chili cheese fry which I wasn't to excited about.

Lastly, the server was doing multiple things and I literally felt bad cuz she was busting her butt to get people served, busing tables and running food!

Over all this place was pretty average, food was ok, but I may go back to try some of their other offerings. I say give 'em a try!

Nice, clean restaurant and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken nachos and cheese wontons and would love to go back and try their egg rolls.

I drive by this place time and again headed to rugby training, and have watched their videos with longing. Finally I dragged my friend Natalia with me for dinner last Thursday after training. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG??? I had the Eggroll-arito, which is a gigantic burrito size egg roll followed with green chili fried rice, fortune cookie fried chicken and wasabi mayo on top, and my choice of dipping sauce. I went with the General Tso's sauce which was perfect! Nat had the Mother Clucker chicken sammich, which was also tasty as hell! Our server was Eryn Witka and the cook Jamal. They did a fantastic job! I can't wait to return for more! If you haven't been here, you're missing out!

Amazing food and great service! This is a gem in the NE heights, they started as a food truck and catered my office's Christmas party- the team raved about their food for weeks after! The brick and mortar restaurant doesn't disappoint. The mac n cheese egg rolls are our favorite and we can't wait to return soon.

We got the eggroll-arito and the wonton nachos and took it back home to eat. This was not our first time at Kamikaze Kitchen, but believe it or not we had t gotten either of these items before. We got the general tso's sauce on the eggroll-arito and the nachos had the pork belly and the orange sauce. My wife decided the nachos were good, but probably would have been better with the chicken instead of the pork belly. Both items also travelled pretty well, which is good when you take things to go.

They are the best restaurant ever our whole family enjoys eating there always look forward to it the employees are the best there always busy but they always have time to be nice
