Josephine B.Brooklyn, NY6028Mar 2, 2019I ordered a wrist corsage for my daughter to wear on her first date with the man she has loved her whole life and will continue love forever. The day of the event I realized I didn't order a boutonniere for him. So I called 2 hours before pick up and ordered it. She was more than happy to make it.
When I got to the shop it was a small shop that was stimulated my senses. It smelled amazing, I heard a waterfall from the front and saw how beautifully decorated it was. If for nothing else I suggest people go for the stimulation!
So I picked up my arrangements and they were absolutely beautiful! Not big and bulky but simply classically delicately beautiful!
How was the service? My daughter was grouchy because she was hungry. Instead of being annoyed by her behavior Karla offered her crackers and a snickers bar. She smiled and was simply welcoming and pleasant!
Thank you Karla for helping to make this Daddy Daughter Dance extra special!!!

Unfortunately I have to leave at least 1 star because there is no option for zero. very overpriced for what she promises and act delivers. Paid for premium and got a bunch of sparsely decorated items using cheap flowers. This was for my husband's funeral so when I walked in and saw the wreaths and sprays, I not only had my grief but I was furious. Think twice about using this place.

This is the first time I have ever received a review with a very low and negative rating. I pride myself on pleasing my clientele to the best of my ability is to create a flower display that would be to your liking.
I am so sorry that you were disappointed with my services. When we met on Sunday afternoon, I knew you were grieving, and I tried my best to be as comforting as possible. You explained to me what your thoughts and visions were, with no set format or a design focus. You looked at some samples and expressed you would like something similar; I did my best to make them as beautiful as possible.
You had requested white and blue flowers and mostly roses, but nothing specifically was expressed about flowers choices. Given the time frame of one day to order, condition, create, and deliver the pieces, I did my best. I used as many premium flowers as I could get from my suppliers. The bleeding heart alone had five and a half dozen roses in it. So, I am not sure I understand the comments of sparse and overvalued with the pieces.
We also spoke about the casket piece, whether it should be a full or a half spray arrangement. I am confused about this honestly, you said there was a viewing, then service, then burial. I asked you if you wanted a half spray, which you expressed to me yes, a half casket piece. That is the price quoted you was for a half casket piece, not a full center piece.
On Tuesday morning, when we delivered the flowers to the church, the casket was not there. The priest instructed us to just leave the flowers, and they would place them when the casket had arrived. Generally, I would stay to do this, but no one knew quite when the casket was going to arrive.
I honestly don't feel that you were overcharged for any pieces that we created. I also included free delivery for you, and I brought stands which I usually do not for the pieces to be placed on at no charge, in addition I supplied 36 roses for you at the graveside at no charge.
In my defense I created what you expressed you wanted me to do for the service. I have written everything down in my notes from the day of our meeting as well as an order form that I created the day you were here, offering you a copy, which you declined and a copy of the receipt as well.
I am truly sorry for your loss and that you are unhappy with my designs. I did everything in my power to make this a beautiful service for your husband and for you and your family.

If I could leave 6 starts I would!! Not only were the flowers incredibly beautiful and fresh and amazing, these 2 stepped out of their 'flower' role and quickly became seamstresses when my daughter's wedding dress had been mistakenly taken in 2 inches the week before the wedding and could not fit in it!! I really do not know what we would have done if it were not for them! Great people with genuine concern for others!!

We wanted to personally thank you for your review and taking the time to truly let us know how we made your daughters day perfect. It was such a pleasure working with you and your daughter on her special wedding day. Watching it all come together also for us was mesmerizing and beautiful. We were happy we could help Morgan get into her dress after that slight mishap. Hopefully we have the opportunity to work together in the future. Possibly for a baby shower or a birthday celebration. I asked Karla to make a fall arrangement for my dining room table. She did just what I asked and it's beautiful. A real focal point in my dining room. She is so creative and very hands on for whatever you need. You can go to her shop in Stroudsburg and see her work. She has arrangements ready to pick up anytime. She can do decorating or flower arrangements for everything from weddings to special events. Thanks Karla, you'll be seeing me again!

I visited Karla's Garden Studio when I was strolling around downtown Stroudsburg, and was so pleased to find such a lovely and welcoming shop. You feel good the minute you step through the door, the flower arrangements and plants are beautiful and there are many lovely items for sale too, new and vintage. I loved her gorgeous greeting cards and bought a lot of them! Thanks Karla for providing an nice oasis!
