This place was amazing. I haven't written a review in a while, but I needed to for this.

The smell when we walked in told me it was going to be a good meal. It just smelled like good food.

We ordered the cauliflower appetizer - I forget the exact name, but definitely get it. Sweet sour, and just perfect.

Beef momo- where have these been all my life? Nuff said

Lamb curry - I love lamb curry, I try it everywhere, and this was one of the best ever.

If I had and criticism it's that the rice was maybe a tad dry.

I ordered the Momo platter and it had a very nice variety. It is off menu and you can ask the server for it. They give you two of each Momo flavors. I also think this is the first time I ever ate bison before.

Food came super fast and I am super happy

We ordered a bunch of item since we were big group. The monos were ok, they keep messing our order and we're bringing someone's food at our table. Noodles were very bland. Chicken appetizers were spicy but not in flavorful way just added red chilli powder and chicken was so so dry we couldn't even eat .
It's small place give you good wibe based on name .
Service was very very bad .

The interiors of the restaurant is quirky and nice. The service was decent. We got the mushroom chilli, veg noodles, chai and mango lassi. Mushroom chilli was very good. Noodles was a let down, had hardly any vegetables in it. Chai was really good and mango lassi was decent. The outside of the restaurant had a really bad order though - but that's a city of Milpitas problem. So I won't recommend eating in the patio.

On our return journey from Mt. Madonna, we decided to stop here for dinner. Being a Tuesday night, the restaurant was quiet, and we were seated promptly. Our order consisted of veg thukpa, mushroom chilli, veg fried rice, and veg momo chilli. The thukpa, a Tibetan noodle soup, was a comforting treat on the chilly evening. The mushroom chilli satisfied my spice cravings perfectly. However, the veg momo chilli was drowned in sauce, which was a bit overwhelming. Since the sauce was similar to the mushroom chilli, it felt redundant. The fried rice stood out, perfectly cooked and fried to my liking. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable. With such an extensive menu, I look forward to returning and exploring more dishes, making sure not to repeat the sauce mishap!

I'd never been here before, so I didn't know what to expect. When you walk in you are instantly transported to somewhere that doesn't feel like Milpitas. There's lots of art everywhere, and even a movie poster of movie/book covers that share the name "Kathmandu."

I was with two friends, and it took us awhile to figure out what to order. In the end we tried the fish curry, chicken naan, buff momos, veggie momos, fried tofu fried rice, garlic naan, and lamb curry.

Let me tell you, everything was good! The veggie momos were a little spicy (I am also weak against spice), but it was not a problem because the flavors! They were so good! I'd never had buffalo before and now I'm converted!

100% recommend this place. Also, splitting the bill is easy since each device has its own bill/order. You may want to be aware of that when you submit orders so that everything can come out at relatively the same time.

For my friend's birthday, we decided to meet at Kathmandu restaurant and try out Nepalese food. The parking lot was small and rough, but we were able to park at 6:45pm. Since we were a group of 4, we ordered a momo, orange caulifer, bowl of noodle, fish curry, and Naan. It was very delicious.

Would enjoy coming back with my family.

Only place that was still open late at night for dinner. I was surprised that there are people still inside the place eating at 10pm. I'm not the only one. First time trying Nepalese food. Ordered Lentil Soup and Aalu Bhanta Baingan to go. Both were perfect comfort food for the cold night.

Nice place, opens until 11:30pm and is a busy spot

Love this place for a late night meal! Portions here are great and they give an ample amount of rice with their curries. Their lamb korma and chicken tikka are one of the best ones I've had in The Bay. Service here has always been great, staff here are very welcoming and attentive. As a regular here, I highly recommend!
