Keyrenter Property Management Salt Lake

I have had the pleasure of working with the Key Renter team for a few years now and they are amazing! If you're looking for a great company and a great team go no further, you have found them.

We left our rental after a year because the service was so bad. We never saw anyone in person from start to finish. The response time was extremely slow. They charge many unnecessary fees and raised our rent by thousands of dollars when it came time to renew our lease saying it would "improve service" which we highly doubted. And when we finally met the owners as we were moving out, they were completely unaware of the problems we had with the unit which means their communication with the owners was also terrible. I will never work with them again.

It pains me to write a negative review but I personally rely a lot on Yelp reviews prior to using a business.
This company did a great job marketing and getting my condo rented out quickly.
After this, it was a nightmare to get phone calls and email messages returned. I found out from the tenant (I'm still not sure how they got my contact info but in this case I was grateful) that he was vacating my unit. I called Keyrenter to let them know. I sent a written notice to Keyrenter advising that I was teminating my business with them, requested that I could look at the unit before the tenant's security deposit (or partial) was returned, and requested my keys back from them by a specific date. Over a month later from that specified date, I still have not received my keys back from Keyrenter. Fortunately, the tenant left his set of keys (although not all of them were returned) in the unit and left it unlocked for me. I'm not even sure if Keyrenter even inspected the unit upon the tenant's move out. I went in my unit two weeks after the tenant left (earliest time I could catch a flight out there) and there was nothing indicating that Keyrenter ever went over and inspected the unit. Very disconcerting since the water could have been left running or the air conditioning left blasting (yes, this has happened to me before).
I did receive a call from Keyrenter after I had sent my notice of termination and they told me that they had a termination procedure that they follow. Bam, dead silence after that.

I can't begin to say how awesome Michelle has been at Key Renter. She helped us with a few snags moving in and always answered our messages quickly and promptly. Now that we're moving out, the first person I thought to contact was her, and she got all our questions taken care of within the hour. As for Key Renter everything was pretty easy, they use some apps which makes everything very easy and they're very easy to navigate. But really Michelle killed it. She's top-tier!

Keyrenter is the best property management company I've ever worked with. They are responsive and quick to find solutions to tenant issues and concerns. They even go above and beyond to give back to the community through service opportunities and other initiatives. They recently rolled out a program to help their clients that have been negatively affected by Covid-19 by providing monetary relief.

I would recommend anyone that's looking for a property management company, either as an owner or tenant, to call them. It will be worth your time to find out more about their services.

We've rented our townhouse from Keyrenter for 4 years and have loved it. They are super easy to work with, send maintenance guys out quickly, and are as hands on as you want them to be. Our home is clean and well maintained because of this property management company and we love renting with them. I recommend them to friends/family looking to rent in the area and would definitely use them again.

Keyrenter has been managing my condo in Salt Lake for over 7 years now. They have consistently communicated well with me and my tenants. Several years ago there was a major storm that caused damage to the roof and, consequently, interior water damage to my unit. I was very happy with how they handled the repairs and made sure the tenants were taken care of.
