Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Hamilton Mill

We had a wonderful experience here and we often miss the staff. They are very caring and we always felt our sons needs and learning was important. He made lots of friends and thrived at Kids R Kids Hamilton Mill on ridge road in Buford.

Both of my little ones now attend Kids R Kids, with my oldest having been here for over a year. We have nothing but great things to say. The staff is extremely friendly, the teachers are great and both of our boys are well taken care of. The only room for improvement I could mention, would be how often I get updates for my 3 year old on BrightWheel. But granted if I was watching several 3 year olds myself, it would be extremely difficult to manage putting in every update throughout the day for every single child. We had previously had our 11 month old at another daycare (there was a waitlist for the nursery here) and it's literally like night + day the care he received. He would go through several outfits, would constantly have diaper rashes and it's the complete opposite here at Kids R Kids. He almost always comes back home in the same outfit he was put in for the day, because they're actually being attentive to him and making sure he has on a bib, etc. If you are looking for a daycare the area, this is the place. If there's a waitlist, go ahead + secure your spot + WAIT. It will 100% be worth it. We absolutely love it here!

We've had a great experience with Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Hamilton Mill. The facility is open, modern and beautiful and the staff makes you fee like family. I LOVE that they offer the ability to see your child through the day on the webcams, thats a great way to feel connected to our little one. The large playgrounds and splash pad are really cool too!

It's located off of major roads so getting in and out is never a hassle. Highly recommended!

My twin boys (will be 2nd grade) goes to Kids R Kids in Hamilton Mill Buford location. Staffs are friendly & supportive.

Reliable schedule (they open everyday except major holiday)

I normally don't take the time to write reviews but this place is AMAZING! I come from 3 generations of educators, of which 2 were in Early Childhood education and the other in Art Education and this place is a plethora of the best of both! Let me tell you, I'm extremely picky and I love creativity, planning, and organization. This location has done an outstanding job of exceeding my expectations! I love the staff, everyone is attentive to both child and parents and they are super friendly! Your child will truly love it here!

Pros: Live video cam to watch them learn; Show & Tell Friday's; Water Play on Monday's, Creative-Educational curriculum that the kids truly enjoy; Great communication in Tadpoles from admin & teachers and always lots of Tadpole pictures! Daily learning and structured advanced curriculum; Very attentive teachers! Covid protected environment!

Cons: Honestly they are the best! I only recommend more options in the menu for vegetarians for protein substitutes.

Just toured the new facility and WOW! Modern, super clean and the staff was great. This definitely gets my seal of approval!

I was one of those parents who was fearful to send my kids to daycare. So we spent the first 3 years with a nanny but after turnover with that and work schedule changes and 1 kid in elementary school, we started looking for different options. We actually chose a different practice before we learned about this KRK. But we enrolled our elementary child here for afterschool care. We were happy with that. And after our little one had troubles with a bully in a different practice we talked to KRK about joining the 3yo class there. What a great decision that has been!! Our son loves this place, all of his teachers, is learning Spanish, trying new food cooked by their chef Merida. Can't say enough great things about Ms. Karla, Ms. Shante and Ms. Monseratt.

The camera access gives great peace of mind. They also use Tadpoles to give you daily pictures and updates. Love this place!

Run! Do not trust this institution with your children!

If your a parent who enrolls their child at this center I hope and pray your child is "Normal" cause if they today, tomorrow or eventually have any needs outside of being independent (which most children now a days do) then this is not the day care for your child!

People who work with children should love children not judge or dismiss them. They should be understanding of each child's individual needs. This is not the case of Kids R Kids Buford.

I spoke with Darla the director there about getting my daughter before and possibly after school care. The second she learned my daughter who is 9 attends a special education school she dismissed her/ me right away. Saying "we just can't have THOSE TYPE OF KIDS HERE, I'm sure you understand"

I went on to explain that my child was not handicapped or in need of special services etc and said she had been in previous daycares with out issues, explained I only need service for about 30 minuets a day in the morning and she told me I'd have to provide her with a copy of my child's IEP (individual education plan) from the school.

Her next statement was "yeah if she's not in main stream classes again we just can't have "THOSE TYPE OF KIDS HERE".

She went on to tell me she had over 50-60 independent "NORMAL" kids in attendance and again said we can't have "THOSE TYPE OF KIDS"

I asked her for a recommendation of any programs that would take my child and she said she knew of none and wasn't able to provide any recommendations.

My child was dismissed by this organization and this woman with out knowing anything about her possible disabilities. They never even gave her a chance, she simply dismissed the idea of her attendance and moved on to the next what apparently is what Kids R Kids feels is a "NORMAL" child!

The discrimination here is deplorable! I couldn't believe I was met with such hatred.

Again, RUN, away from this center and take your children where they will be valued and loved for the individual that they are.

My baby girl just started at this school a couple of weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing! Her teacher's Ms. Beth and Ms. Gabby have been amazing in helping her transition and just making everything feel better. Plus, they have live cameras. The chef is awesome! She eats better than I do! I couldn't be happier with the switch.

I would highly recommend Kids R Kids! We have been pleased since day one with our first born daughter. All the staff and teachers are friendly, caring, welcoming, nurturing, and loving. We love Kids R Kids Buford!
