John C.MO, MO02Feb 20, 2024they are pretty good. But you can only count on this. that they will never have sweet potato fries. they are always out. its middle of the road as far as price but honestly way better than fast food and not that much more expensive these days.

Great food, reasonable prices, a little off the beaten path but worth the trip.the sausage plate is spicy, the pulled pork is not greasy.

The gave me someone else's order and the food wasn't as good as I expected. Truly disappointed.

Absolutely love the food and haven't had any problems with service. They get busy just as any restaurant so I will not complain about waiting for good food. I also really like the country decor and how homey it feels. My only problem is that I would love for them to be open longer. I can understand having Sunday off, but Monday as well makes me cry. To me they also close too early, but I'm sure there is a reason so I'll just keep waiting and chowing down whenever I can.

Thank you.May 15, 2021Previous reviewPatty Melt is great and so is the Lemon Cake! Kim's never disappoints when you are hangry. Food is always fresh cooked to order. Service with a smile and staff is very attentive.
May 4, 2021Previous reviewAs always Kim's BBQ Shack was DELICIOUS! Had Smoked Chicken Platter (moist, tender and tasty), Fried Catfish Platter (freshly fried ((not over fried)) seasoned nicely and to top it off German Chocolate Cake and Lemon Cake. You bake moist scrumptious cakes Kim! We never leave without to go boxes because of serving sizes and extra cake to eat at home.

May 11, 2020Previous reviewI've driven by Kim's for the last 3 years and every time I think I'm going to give this place a try. Now, I wish I had stopped in the very first time I drove by. I ordered 1/2 chicken dinner and it was the most moist, tender, tasty smoked chicken I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and did not need a drink to "wash it down". Dinner came with lots of fries, slaw (not too sweet) and beans flavored nicely. Hubs ordered Catfish dinner (tasty and fried just right so it was not dried up cardboard) came with lots of fries, slaw and beans. While placing our order I spied a freshly baked Pineapple cake and could not leave without a piece. We didn't get to the cake until the next afternoon and it was soooo moist, light and bursting with pineapple flavor WOW! We will definitely, definitely be returning to Kim's if for nothing but the cakes; but, will be eating BBQ also!

I'm a big fan of Coke. I try to get a Coke every time I go out to eat. I come to Kim's at least once a week. They have a great Coke decor. Bottles, lunchboxes, wall paint, cans, toys, Coke everywhere. Sometimes I'll just sit there after eating and bask in all the Cokeness. I close my eyes and let it envelope me. I reach out but I don't dare touch anything. "they're just there to look at" I tell myself. "Besides, someday you'll have a collection like this and it will be all yours." Until that day I have Kim's.
