Dr.Kirk was amazing and very nice! The patient services were great! I was treated and eye problem resolved. I will continue to go here for any services needed. Keep up the great work!

My exam finished an hour after they closed. They told me they were still open so that I wouldn't feel guilty.

My eyes don't work together. They referred me to a specialist and gave me a new sharp prescription.

It's a good news/ bad news thing.

My father asked me to write this review for him regarding Kirk Eye Center and a couple of their doctors. If he could give them more than 5 stars, he says he would.

In July 2023 my father had an eye problem that needed immediate attention. Dr. Tyler Kirk saw my father quickly and went above and beyond to resolve the problem.

In August 2023 my mother had a contact stuck in her eye causing her to experience significant eye pain. Dr. Scott Kirk saw her quickly, again going above an beyond to resolve the problem.

These are extraordinary, caring, helpful doctors. They have gone above and beyond to help my parents. My parents would recommend them to anybody.

I had cataract surgery a few months ago at the Kirk Eye Center. Dr. Kent Kirk was fantastic. He listened to all of my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. The staff was also very professional. I would highly recommend them for all your eye care needs..

I was referred here by my eye doctor when I mentioned interest in LASIK. The consultation alone sold me - Dr. Kirk and all of his staff were SO kind, the surgical coordinator Joyce was wonderful and talked me through all my options, so LASIK was a no brainer after that. The actual procedure was quick, the nurses and medical assistants were awesome, Dr Kirk walked me through everything and I knew how to get ahold of him in case something went wrong. I really appreciate that he gives patients a call the night after LASIK to check on them. Overall, I would highly recommend Kirk Eye for anything, but especially LASIK!

I went to Kirk Eye Center on Harlem Ave in Chicago last spring. I have scarring on my cornea from an injury nearly 40 years ago. After an exam, It was recommended that I receive a corneal transplant. I agreed and was scheduled for the procedure at their River Forest location. A few days later, they called and said my insurance wouldn't cover this unless it was done in a hospital. Great. Scheduled the procedure to be done at Illinois Masonic. A few days later they called and said a scheduling conflict would not allow it to be done on that date. They said that they would call me with a new date. They never called back. I waited weeks. My time and money were wasted ( I had to pay my deductible and co-pay) for the appointment and tests. I also payed co-pays for medications that they prescribed that I needed to get before the procedure. I will not go back. Something is wrong with this place.

Getting ready to do my second cataract surgery and I would NOT use anyone else but Kirk Eye Care!!!
They know what they are doing and do eye care extremely well!!

I had surgery for cataract and glaucoma this year, and the post surgery care was horrible. I had a problem with my eye (it was red and hurt) and Kirk's kept saying to just get the other eye done and it will clear up. That did not make sense to me. Instead of investigating what was going on, they said on several occasions that they didn't know what is wrong. No referral to a specialist, they just wanted me to get the other eye operated on to make more money. A friend referred me to U of Ill hospital eye clinic and they found that I had a lot of inflammation in the back of my eye. I quickly changed doctors and wish I had done it sooner, as it's taking longer to get it cleared up. I am black and well educated, and an experience like this makes me wonder if they ignored my concerns because of the color of my skin. I would never recommend this group to anyone.

First class optical care. The best you can find. First Lipiflow machine in all Chicago. Especially love the dry care and top grade surgical team!

Just had LASIK surgery on both eyes. Dr. Kent Kirk and his entire staff were amazing! True angels. Joyce the LASIK coordinator is awesome. She talked me through everything from financing to post op instructions. Dr. Kent talked me thru the whole procedure and even gave his cell number in case of any concerns. Chad along with the other nurses were incredible. The only staff I had a terrible encounter with was Susana at the surgical center on the phone and in person. She can't handle working with clients. Other than Susana. Kirk Eye Center is the place to go for all optical needs, especially LASIK surgery.
